You wanted HAV to stop destroying all the turrets on the map. We decided not to...... in hind sight that was a bad move on our part as we didn't have much faith in you.
Okay we as tankers should have tried to extend then olive branch on this one.
To rectify this CCP Rattati in his godlike wisdom literally doubled the HP of turrets to make them very difficult to remove from the game and prevent tanks receiving very large amounts of WP which literally provide no real bonuses whatsoever.
FOR GODS ******* SAKE MAKE SURE YOU CAPTURE THEM ALL FOR YOUR TEAM......... ESPECIALLY THE ONES ON OUR HOME SIDE OF THE MAP.
PLEASE.....seriously. If you wanted the turrets to stay on the map you really should have defended them in the first place.... I really don't want to have to spend the first 5 mins of every match wiping them all off of the map again because you are too lazy to hold them, or doing loops around the entire map because you are too lazy to capture them.

I find lopsided engagements like that tend to result in more wins for me.
Asset denial is a big tactical consideration for me.

Issue I have found in recent matches is that my team is effectively **** blocking/blue balling my tanks and all friendly HAV that could be on the map because of a lack of control over battlefield assets.
Objectives are the goal I can agree....... but wouldn't that assault go smoother is I was there backing you up, watching you back, and keeping enemy HAV off of your ass?
Well I can't be...... y'know why because my own players ignored the 13K EHP blaster turret that has a clear line of sight to me. I'm wholly there to **** **** up, protect my team, and make sure attacks go smoothly on a point...because I know friendly infantry don't want an enemy HAV shitting all over their day.

*sigh* Sorry venting, but It's a rare day I see a tanker that's willing to help his team you're one of few, period.
You tankers want support, help your damn team, I assure you they like killing squishy AV/ free hacking WP as much as you like them hunting it down.
In combat precedence, personally, is set to the annihilation and or disarmament of turrets. I cannot function effectively on a field where I know heavy AV units are present.
Moreover it really begs the question, especially so in public matches, of risk assessment.
A 3 man team of infantry who die might yield 180 points plus assists.
My HAV yields at minimum 200, plus damage WP, plus Assists, etc. Denying the enemy team the opportunity to score and orbital and being able to disrupt them tends to be something I try to keep in mind as it really thins out clone numbers and scatters the team when OB are dropped. However to assist infantry when and where I can is and always should be my primary goal.
As I see it.... the whole thing is a two way street. Infantry must realise that opening up opportunities for friendly tanks and vehicles benefits their entire team as I can punch a hole in the enemy lines a mile wide and scatter them for you all to kill.
Consequently I have to be on call as often as possible front and centre diverting as many enemy players away from Anti Infantry to AV and protecting players who need to need open lines of agression or egress.
