These mobile apps in particular rely on API data being fed from the Tranquility Database. If it shows up on the API, it's in the system.

I see. So basically this information was already discovered by us years ago but later fell into obscurity and then forgotten by CCP and everyone else.

Happens, unfortunately.
Albeit, I could be wrong. That very same post shows alternate suits which I was -INCREDIBLY- wrong about considering they wound up being pre-fitted BS that no-one really cared about 
Although, I did toss some of those theories along to the CPM as Post-Level 5 Content ideas. So who knows, maybe we'll see a return of that radical imagination.

If you look hard enough you'll find all the work they did on the racial RDVs (the things that bring your vehicle to you for those who don't know) and the Drone hives and what not.
Also small turret installations, defense relays, command structures...
EDIT: Also the Bomber Dropships. Those were hilarious.
