I have advanced and it's pretty solid but I am saving SP for proto. Can you guys give me some argument why I should bother skilling into proto ? In 1.9 cloak is pretty much nerfed so I am going to wait before putting my skill points into it.

I like it, it allows you to travel much further and also allows you to evade more scans with less. Honestly if you can live without the time benefits, you might be fine.

Nope, 1.9 is released tomorrow cloaks are nerfed. Go into something useful like uplinks. |

I don't know everything you've got, but I'd say just ignore the proto cloaks. They're good, but there are more fun things to spend your SP on, and if I'm correct, you still don't have Lv5 Hand to hand, do you? Those Complex Myfobril Stimulants will give you a lot more entertainment than a prototype cloak.
The only real reason to spec into proto cloaks is the 10% dampening, but I believe you've got a Gal scout, so you don't really need that.
Nova Knives are best sidearm.

If you need a cloak longer than the ADV, you're probably doing something.
Personally, I don't see any point to it. My ADV cloak already takes up too much fitting to consider equipping a proto on anything but a proto suit and the timers aren't bad either way.
Really the only point I can see to use one is for a perma-damped Cal scout.

Well. It really depends on your playstyle.
If you use a Heavily profile dampened scout and rely on scouting as a stalking tool then yes.
Me myself rely on E-war SCANNING capabilities so i really dont rely on cloaking that much. I have 40 mill sp and i havn't even bought it. I just use the ARN or the Standard cloak.
The best Damage mod is a HEADSHOT....

You are correct on all the thing except the Hand to Hand combat. It's been 3 days I have them. So yeah I've been smacking people like crazy ( especially scouts ) . I do have gk.0 and mk.0 scout. Im looking to get the longer cloak wich will elp me greatly in my scout adventures.

Depends on your low slots or race, galente doesnt need the damp bonus , amar benefits from it, min can hardly fit it and cal benifits from it cuz you can use the lows for things other than damps.
