Nah, in a way we're beta testing Legion as we speak, they just don't want to come out and say it. That's why we're getting new maps and moods, they want to know how things will go down in those environments so they can plan accordingly for Legion. It'll be the same schtick if we get new weapons or vehicles.

Okay, let me explain.

First off, after U1.8 DUST was having problems like balancing & CCP said that they won't be anymore Uprising Updates but update the gameplay regularly with Hotfixes, which lead to believe that DUST isn't a high priority for CCP anymore but Legion was, now with U1.9 coming out with (nearly) everything Dust Players asked for before U1.8 Like:

Player Market
PvE (Not in)
and so fourth.

Legion has been shown last years fanfest after that show DUST players felt rejected, betrayed & used, because Legion will be Ported for PC (hopefully also might later be on PS4) and DUST 514 will be left well, Dusty and the support and money Dust players gave them wasn't for Dust but for a new Project called Legion, but the problem is it hasn't been greenlit which causes some confusion if Legion would come out either at all.

PlayStation 3 development cycle for games is coming at an end in 2016, which i guess is when CCP stops supporting DUST 514 on the PS3s but then again i think Legion would be greenlit before Sony stops PS3 support.

All this is a tad confusing with what CCP says, first they basically say that they're not doing this, but next year they do anyway if you get my meaning.

I think we aren't hearing about Legion because it's going to be different from Dust in ways that will anger us.

My god, I really feel like someone needs to start teaching English in schools in the US again.

Nearly none of what players have been requesting is in 1.9. There's no vehicle parity, no player market, no NPE, no "guns that shoot guns that shoot tanks" and no dinosaurs.

1.9 is the leftovers from 1.7 that never got fully implemented before Fanfest. There will probably never be a 1.10 or 2.0 for Dust.
Legion is the golden child now. Hopefully, it fares better than the last golden child - World of Darkness.

I hate to say this and be negative but until we have some actual evidence otherwise Legion is one of two things.

1. - Dead / Not happening and CCP dont have the balls to tell us this yet.

2. - Is going to be nothing like DUST or EVE and will be a dumbed down typical lobby shooter and they know that's not what we are after in a FPS game.

I really hope I am wrong but I just cannot see why CCP are SO silent and vague about what they are doing.

THE MARKET INTRODUCED IS JUST A NPC VENDOR I WANT TO BE ABLE TO BUY AND SELL THINGS FROM OTHER PLAYERS SINCE THIS WAS SUPPOSE TO BE A MMORPG NOT BUY AND SELL FROM NPC'S.
