Ahhh, you almost had a + 1 if just hadn't said Ditch the SMG. Breach AR + Breach = damage synergy between weapons.
This is how you set up a G-I:
Comp light DM
GB-9 BrAR
BrSMG
K-2 nanohive
Comp armor repairer
Ehd armor repairer
Basic armor plates
***
194 shield
437 armor
18.12/sec repair
4.85 movement
7.13 sprint.

No such bonus exists. You might be getting confused with the commando bonus: it has 2% bonus to damage of light hybrid blasters per Lv.

First, are you talking about my C-I or my Gal Stats?
I'll assume the C-I fit.
I don't see how that could be possible seeing as how I'm looking at the fit right now and it is only 4 CPU shy of being Valid, on my Dren assault, and I don't have any points at al into Cal assault so I'm not even getting the bonus to CPU on for the SB-39 RR, which should be like 9.56 more CPU.

...is a perfectly valid fitting. I'm staring at it in my fittings window, as an approved fit, right now.
220/41 = CPU/GP of 222/41 = CPU/PG

You know what the problem probably is? What are your "light weapon operation" and "sidearm operation" skills at? They give bonus reduction of CPU to weapons. My light is at 4 and my sidearm is at 2. This is probably it.
