Make them show up on radar. I have lvl 5 dropsuits scans and always use 2 complex enhancers and they harldy ever show up on my radar. Why is this? Why do they show up like 1/50 times I am by them?
RE's are a great tool in skirmish for point defense they just need to show up on radar for people that have points into percision enhancement.
Possibly lvl 1 remotes will show up with lvl 1 percision enhancement and avd for lvl 3 ect....

How would it be unusable? Any smart player fluxes a point im talking about player like me thay put them down when being pursued and taking out the threat. If they could see them on passive they wouldn't walk into them. Im trying to help other players avoid this fate because I feel its far too easy to get kills this way. |

MAYBE with the throwing distance, though I really don't think it much of a problem. Same goes for timer and damage capacity. Not looking, shooting, or fluxing a point before you hack it? Just plain lazy. One of the great aspects of Dust is that you have to think, plan, and coordinate. Lets not start making suggestions that only benefit people too lazy to use their heads. Commandos cant wield grenades and I know how to place re so it sinks into objective and you cant shoot it only nade will destroy it. |

RE's should not be frizbees of death, IMO, and having them on scans doesn't change this annoying/cheap use case in the least.
That said, hopefully the increase in FPS from the rendering improvements will help with hit detection and shooting a fast scout with an RE becomes more doable, even if a change to how the RE is deployed is not implemented.
How are you gonna tell me you shouldn't be able to throw a hockey puck sized object? Get real dude just because you use easy mode heavy dont take away our best counter. Take away a heavys fast turn speed which is highly unrealistic even in a game and then we will talk about not being able to throw them. |

Then why not ask for them to fix a glitch instead of fixing a problem that isn't there? I run some commando, and most of my commando fits have some sort of splash damage weapon to use on REs OR another light weapon which can be used to shoot theme from a distance. Fixing a glitch is reasonable. "Fixing" a problem related to a glitch in such a way to render the item useless is not.
So just because you run your commando like that everyone else does? I just told you I know how to place them so only flux will destroy it, md will not work. |
