Whatever you want to call it (glitch exploit or cheating), that time period in PC was miserable regardless if you won or lost. It was almost as bad as the PC days when flaylocks and massdrivers reigned supreme.

The mass driver was like the only weapon that worked decently well against the melee build. This was all before hit detection fixes and auto aim. I contend that if they reinstated the melee glitch, it wouldn't be nearly as big a problem today.

Also: All the crying about the melee glitch ignores the fact that a similar bug (Reload clipping) still exists in the game. Last time I checked, no one seems to be in favor of fixing that one. Reload clipping is the same concept, but everyone can do it effectively

This has now become the official Ari/Melee glitch QQ thread (Others had unlocked the items necessary to truly make it OP but I used it so much and so effectively that the glitch is most often 95Gäà associated with me. It was fixed before anyone else could turn it into a FOTM, at the time most people had <5 million sp)
