Rooftop camping. This is ridiculous, it ruins tactical gameplay by turning it into a race for whoever can fly a MLT dropship there first, and do it without accidentally falling off before you place a link. It's nigh impossible to get rid of these uplinks once they are placed. I'm sure everyone can agree it's a frustrating and unnecessary part of the game. It could easily be fixed by placing an upper vertical limit on how high up an uplink can exist, or by making the terrain on top of structures automatically cause the uplink to explode.
Spamming. People were discussing the idea behind this thread a while ago, and someone said you shouldn't be able to just drop uplinks everywhere and then switch suits or die, while the uplinks stay there. Your uplinks should explode when your clone is terminated or you change that suit at a supply depot. This will both promote the use of Logis on the battlefield and make the entire flow of battle more tactic-oriented. Uplinks should also have a resupply function similar to remote explosives.
I really think this is important to the Dust experience.
Besides this there is spawnkilling.
I'd program uplinks to explode on inaccessible structures too, but these would be my means of stopping spawn spamming. If you plant an uplink too close to someone else's(basically right next to it) yours will explode. Uplinks will explode if planted too close or on top of a null cannon terminal.
For spawnkilling: If a player plants an RE too close or on an uplink, it will explode, but this time the explosion will kill them. If 4 or so players have died before 3 seconds after coming from an uplink it will explode and have the same enemy killing effect(kind of like my nanite suggestion I made)
I wouldn't make it so that uplinks explode when a player dies/switch suits because only scouts could go in and out of maps easily to plant uplinks without being hunted as soon as possible, and them being stressed on constantly planting uplinks every death/ trying so harshly to not be killed will prevent or distract them from doing any other functions such as partaking in attacking enemies,or helping teams in other manners.
On small vacation surfing on Caldari Tanks.
