Not sure. Been thinking about it. The only conclusion I came to was that I would definitely do it at -ú10 - I would think about it at -ú15 and I would have to be really stoned to do it at over -ú20
I have a feeling it will be pretty expensive. Maybe the price of a new game. In which case, I won't do it.

i can't imagine it being too cheap. i'd say $20/-ú15 or maybe 30,000AUR ($15/-ú10) this is purely going off of the services they offer in EVE to transfer a characters portrait or account to another. i think to move a character from one account to a different one is 2 x PLEX ($34.99/-ú23 for a GTC which gives 2 x PLEX) and to move the portrait is $10 or perhaps 1 x PLEX now so going down th emiddle.
i think a lot of people think this is going to be a cheap 5k AUR thing you can do every few months, when in reality its a service there for people who want to do a one off respec to right some wrongs and not to be used to respec into fotm after every hotfix/pacth

Jk. If someone in the 1800s made a few dollars a day, that would be maybe $20 a week. Now, this is for a working class, and hypothetical, I actually don't know how much they actually made, but it's a good estimate.
Now, based on that, a typical working/ middle class person these days can earn 1 or 2,000 dollars a week. So if we use 2,000 as our wage, we get about 100 times as much as they do, in which case 1 dollar for them would be $100 for us.

$10 - 20 is fair ( well $ 20 somewhat ) and anything more is just silly .
Factoring in cost of living and global market problems and ramping up the price would just contradict the fact that it's an option .
The thing is to make money , not price your own self out of an opportunity and a option that you yourself introduced .
$ 20 is stretching it but $10 would make it affordable and people would buy it more then once , if anything to just contribute to CCP's pocketbook .

Mal , your a good scout ... I played with you yesterday in a pub in a game with Duna and you hacked a null on the outside that was red for the longest .
I was waiting for some of those tanks but they never came over to that null but you came in a saved the match for us IMO , after you left it was hacked again and then the team started to give it attention .
I was up kinda high and didn't want to give away my position incase the vehicles came around but they didn't , just some LAV's which my swarms ate for lunch .... they was hungry for the dinner but it never came .
Just wanted to say , thanks .

Yea I am expecting it to be fairly pricey. I mean if they were charging 20k + aurum for purple quafe suits then you can be sure a full respec is going to be a lot more than that.

My guess is something like 44,000 AUR. It works out to close to 20 dollars but you are unable to get it with JUST a 20 dollar Aurum back. Keeping players with just a little bit of 'Riot Points' means they have to buy bigger backs but it does not seem more expensive "Oh, I will just buy a 50 dollar pack, use a little less than half and save it if I want to get another one." Psychologically, the individual will feel as if they paid 20 dollars for something while really paying a lot more upfront.
Also, purchasing packs of points persuades people into re-peat purchases. "I have some points left over. I'll just buy with 10 dollar back and get a booster pack."

Its not about being a fotm chaser for everyone, for me its the 4 proto weapons I no longer use and an ads that is worthless for killing tanks, which is why I skilled into it. Thats just under 10 mil I could use elsewhere. |

There is none now and with the SP boost , any would be easy to obtain .
You people seem to think that the people who fought for respec did so to chase something that's always been easy to obtain hence , the forum posters who make the previous FOTM known to the community , what stopped them from obtaining it then ???
Please keep the hate to a minimum .
We all know that you don't need a respec to obtain FOTM and since the balancing that has taken place , there is NO MORE clear cut FOTM ... if any at all and after 1.9 , scouts will not be FOTM anymore then the people can finally start to play their roles instead of chasing FOTM .
