I will not, I may be a RR assault, but no matter how badly it is nerfed I will use it. I can't wait for people to switch to assault and cry about how it's overpowered, why? because I will be nerfed again and will be left with a plastic gun, cardboard armour and skill and that's all I need.
Huh? sorry that go off track, but no I won't get a respec as I like where my current skills are.

I'll be waiting for the price to be said. If it's reasonable ($10 for me, $20 MAAAAYBE), I'll be getting rid of specific weapons (Mass Drivers, Swarms) and all of my vehicle stuff (except basic blaster and LAV/Grimsnes) and put that into finishing my Gallente stuff.
Gallente User since Jan. 28th, 2013. Touched on every Gallente role since.

Why not proto your Minmatar Logi before you go in to heavy and max your equipment so then you can purely focus on heavies then instead of having to go back and finish your logi |

Depends on the price, but I do want to say thank you to CCP but I don't like the ugly Quafe suits and I rather not stress myself with boosters.I have just over 42 million SP with all my Amarr suits maxed and many weapons at proto plus many maxed core skills, so there's sort of this since that taking won't do much for me. However, I devised a plan to fully optimize a small handful of fits with just the Amarr logi and it will cost 40m SP, so I'll probably do that. Insane optimization

Like others have said, its all about the price. In my case I don't think it'd be worth it for me unless it was absurdly, game breakingly cheap
I had a long, hard look at my skillsheet when I heard about the respecs, and the only two things I'd even consider getting rid of are hand-to-hand combat 5 and amarr logi 3. Every other weapon and dropsuit I've trained I use at least occasionally, but the amarr logi I got because I mistakenly assumed the uplink bonus would work if I respawned in a different suit (dont give me ****). Without that bonus, its just a slower minmatar logi that's barely less squishy with no rep tool bonus.
And melee is just buggy and frustrating with this game's low FOV, not to mention I have to turn any fitting into a lolfit by sacrificing a highslot for a complex myostim to get any benefit from the skill.
So that's two skills with a combined total of about 1.5 million skillpoints. Not worth it. And who knows? Maybe melee will get fixed, or the skill bonus will change back to base melee damage, or the amarr logi will change in a way that makes me want to use it for something other than uplink spam. Hell, now that I think about it, in 1.9 I can pilot a mCRU+scanner derpship with an amarr logi suit, throwing down uplinks here and there while I keep the uplink bonus working from the dropship!
Sure I could respec and shift all of my skillpoints into a couple of FOTM loadouts, but I'd get bored to tears pretty quickly using the same weapon and dropsuit all the time for a little skill bonus. Seriously, what is with you guys who can stand to train one dropsuit and one weapon to proto and only ever use that for 2,000 hours of playtime? You don't ever get a little bit sick of it? |

Satisfied with my choices (Perfect core skills, SCR prof 5, Amarr assault 5, Amarr logi 5, Amarr commando 5, Caldari scout 5, Amarr sentinel 4, Minmatar assault 3, CR op 3. Other weapons and suits at lv1).
Haven't played Dust in months due to circumstances, but when I get back I will have a huge amount of unallocated SP to spend on whatever I decide I want anyway. Once I get back, I'll skill into flaylock pistol, combat rifle, and Minmatar assault. So much Minmatar. Might also get Amarr sentinel 5.

I did the exact same thing, first I had cal Logi, assault and scout proto, the next thing I know I've got gallente commando Minmatar sentinel, amarr assault etc. I've decided to take all of my 3.5 million SP out of vehicles when I respec just because I want to focus on pure infantry then pure Python and not try do both at the same time. |
