I've decided to go Caldari only in 1.9 so I'll be getting the assault, scout, sentinel and logistics proto straight away, I'm holding off on the commando as I see no real advantage one thing that is strange is that in the hotfix the gallente commando became king of armour reps yet the Caldari are still stuck with painfully slow regen times. I'm also going to keep my advanced ADS and that ROF nerf doesn't really effect me as I use the Python for equipment clearance and picking off players in the open. What are you getting with your respec? (Just a discussion thread, if you hate respecs don't bother posting)

What I would eliminate from my skillsets aren't worth the whole trouble of respec'ing. Question: did they mention how much it would be in AUR? I won't be getting a respec. I have every tool in the game for a reason. It's to try different things out from time to time. If I were to specialize a single role, it would get quite boring for me.

I cannot be nerfed into uselessness because like in EVE I will run pretty much every dropsuit in the game competently EVE Online is what you get when engineers attempt to create "fun" without consulting someone who comprehends the word.

Anything on my alt that isn't in Amarr will go straight into. Then my two main chars will be complete. My tanker char will sit on passive sp until vehicles are more dynamic again. Will drop the SP in mass driver, rail rifle, combat rifle, laser rifle, scrambler rifle, keep 1 into sniper rifles. Keep forge and HMG. Obviously back into tanks. Obviously full core infantry skills as well, but also go into secondary like the eWar skills as well as getting the base biotic skill to 5. I may be missing something, but I'm pretty sure that I didn't call for a tank nerf before Uprising 1.7. - Atiim

I would rather spend AUR on a booster than a respec as I have 4M SP sitting around doing nothing. More than that I guess, I haven't logged in lately. There are only a few decisions I could rethink but they are dependent on what CCP Nerfs vs Buffs for 1.9 and Hot Fix Echo. I find it is better to wait and see what has stuck to the walls versus guessing with CCP. Even CCP Rattiti is iffy in that regard, I fear. Don't get me wrong, some of the changes from him are cool. But if we are really getting a 1.9 patch I would like to have rail gun turrets work correctly and consistently. They haven't worked correctly since 1.0. For that matter, all large turrets have some problems with a little thing called shooting. My favorite tank is a Lightning. Just sayin.

I was pretty careful in the first place but could probably raise an extra couple of million by killing off my heavy skills which I don't use. I think it's a great idea to offer the respec but as far as my own personal use goes - indifferent. I would max my current weapons if I did it however. already did the cores and suits. GÇ£All that I know most surely about morality and obligations I owe to football.GÇ¥

With the cloak changes I'd suspect quite a few people will switch their scout to an assault. I won't. How else am I supposed to knife people?

There are countless suits and guns I do not use or I do not have a use for. I will stay Minmatar assault and logistics still since those two suits were my bread and butter since Uprising 1.0. In otherwords my refunded skill points will go back into the area of focus for my assault and logistics. But here is a taste of what I am dropping, everything in drop-suit Upgrades will remain the same. I am dropping MInmatar commando (Temporary until skills for logistics are back) and Gallente Scout (only used it for FoTM and hate myself for doing so). Anything vehicle related since I rarely use vehicles. The biggest SP sink I have besides upgrades in in weaponry. I might drop the AR. I've used that weapon since Open Beta but after the introduction of CR and RR I found no point in using them as much. I'm dropping the RR since I'd never liked that weapon and I rarely used it. Also dropping the ScR. As powerful as a weapon it is, I rarely use it and it was only meant for the Amarr users (I would do the queen FYI lol). I am debating on staying heavy. *Logi mk.0, Assault mk.0, Soon to be Scout gk.0 or ck.0*
