Much like the bolt pistol, the scrambler rifle and pistol seem to have a higher target assist than other weapons.
It doesn't even seem like I'm pointing the weapon at someone and I hit them with hip shots, but try to point and target someone and I hit 1 in 3 / 4 times.
They need to tamp this down some. |

I've been wondering about this - I can't seem to hit anything when I aim down sights with my scrambler pistol, but when I just hip fire spam most of the shots seem to hit, even at quite long range. |

I kinda have to agree with this. Hipfiring an enemy in CQC with the SCR tends to be slightly easier than aiming down sights at a target down a decent range. Maybe it's the low zoom. Maybe I just suck with it ADS. |

the aim assist on the scrambler is so op i can sit in the mcc and just randomly shoot out the hole in the floor and get 20 kills

Yup pretty much similar like boltie, scrambie is quite powerfull.
Some tweaks should be apreciated here

im gonna assume you mean tweaks to aim assist and not the scrambler

of course btw i dont see that big AimAss issue on rifle, more likely i see it with pistol (that was why i put bolt in contex too) .

i dont think you know what aim assist is. you have a larger box as hipfire so you can hit people without aiming at them,
when you zoom in it gets smaller so you have to actually aim or you miss.

I can, and did with my salvage just to test it out, the range was tweaked by about 60m or so, but still they nerf my RR (From what I've heard :p)
Really I think they should lower the damage just a bit as it seems the be one of the strongest weapons I've encountered!

It's just dispersion for hip firing. The fact of the matter is you flat out missed (the center of your shot) but dispersion from hip firing put the bullet on target. When you Aim Down Sight you get almost no dispersion.
So basically if, when using a gun, you find that you hit more when hip firing than when ADSing, you actually just are missing a lot and your aim needs work. |

I can't believe people are taking this thread seriously.
Try reading it but imagine Ace Ventura saying it for the proper context.
Aim assist pulls shots center mass. This is not beneficial towards exploiting the ScP headshot bonus.
7/10 so far . Let's see how many people miss the obvious and me spelling it out.
