If it's 750k active SP then No. If it's active +passive = 750k then I'm okay with it.
Sorry for my bad english.

This new cap is gonna ruin all the purpose of Dust. We play Dust because we know it's hard, but when we finally succeed, it's rewarding. We waited 1 month and a half to get this proto suit we cherish, then spent months to get some passives that changes everything, and worked hard to have good weapons.
Now what? You'll stack 3 omegas and you'll go for 3M SP per week : 1 full proto suit from lvl 0 basic to 5 racial. 1 DAMN WEEK !?
And all of these scrubs are happy because they'll finally have what they dont deserve.
Why would anyone play a game with 0 challenge constantly screwed up -update after update - by the dev team?
Sorry for my bad english.

To those people who are triple stacking boosters, does that mean they will simply reach the 750k cap 3 times faster, or does it mean they will get 3x the total SP for the week?
If it is simply reaching the cap quicker, I can handle 750k. I won't ever reach it but it isn't totally extreme. However, if someone can triple stack and pull in 2.25 MILLION SP a week? Nope, too much. WAY too much. Why is that way too much though?. By what standards is that actually too much?. Seriously? 2.2 Million a week? People are going to going from 0-proto every other week in a new suit. I don't ever come close to capping out now. With this formula, a brand new, fresh merc out of the academy, if s/he is willing to pay some money, will catch and surpass me in total SP in under 3 months (I'm at about 21 million SP right now). This is the definition of pay to win. I've had to grind for a year and a 1/2 (I did take a hiatus in the middle and I have other obligations outside this game) to get to that point. Someone can walk in, throw some cash around, and surpass me in total SP in 1/6th the time simply because they are willing to pay? If this is the case, why have a cap at all? Let people stack 5 Omega Boosters with no cap and let people hit 10 million a week. Or 20 Million a week. At what point WILL it be too much for you? Let's see. This char has 39 mil sp My alt has 24 mil sp My tanker has 18 mil sp Iv spent -ú1000+ to hoard isk and run isk less proto fits for over the almost 2 years now. Im not mad that players can catch up. They won't reach anything I can't do or gain anything unobtainable. They can pay to skip the grind for all I care. They cannot reach some magical op level and we can also earn more than the cap at something like x3 the rate. You yourself can earn the pre 1.9 cap x3 faster as well. Anyway, you didn't actually state why its too much, you just gave me your selfish opinion. Read my post above and you'll see why.
It's not even about money, nor selfishness, it's the entire goal of the game on which they are sh!tting on. A MMORPG (FPS too for Dust) is based on constant grinding. What makes it attractful is the challenge to have everything you want, with 1.9, there will be no challenge.
You can add me in the NO list.
Sorry for my bad english.

I don't think you got my point TechMed. I don't care that new players can have better gears easily. It's nice for them and will make games more competitive (we'll see^^ Blueberries can be really stupid).
The problem with that new SP cap is that it'll be TOO easy. There will no longer be this feeling of "ok I have to make a choice now: this skill or this one? Hmm it'll take some time anyway." This is what make Dust a long lifetime/ durability game.
With so much SP every week, what used to make Dust a game based on choices and SP decisions will be gone. And to me it was the best part of it.
Dust is one of these games that you can't finish in 1 week, and that even after 1 year you still have skills to earn. Now it'll just go so fast that in 2 months everybody will have everything and it'll be boring as hell..

None of that mattered after the damage fan fest did so the game must change accordingly. With the way the game is going, it needs to be more easily accessible for newer players on every level. Please define too much in a factual manner, you can't, that's just your opinion.

With more sp every week, they will still matter and you can make more choices that matter, whatever that means to you (grinding sht loads it seems).

Congratulations mystic Meg, tell me more hypes about the future.
I get you totally, you just can't see how silly you are being, so you get silly answers.
I do get you, but you are simply ignore some glaringly obvious factors in favour of how you feel it should be. Let's try to answer in this order:
- If you think this way then why even playing the game?? Why having updates? Why having sp if the game is dead? (According to you)
- It's not the grinding that I like, it's the rewards that it gives! Choices will not matter anymore as you'll have so much SP (mostly if you pay) that waiting 1 week more of another proto stuff will not be a hard decision.
- Je vais te les faire bouffer tes hypes moi fdp.
I think you just can't wait to have these SP to have some skill that you always wanted earlier than planned. My answers may be silly to you, but again, you'll understand them later, when you'll have all the SP you ever wished so fast, and will have nothing else to do.
Sorry for my bad english.

*facepalm* you have lost this one. Just go eat a taco or something. I have to side with that techmeds scrub on this one. It's already hard to find skills to put SP in, so much more SP will just accelerate the boredom. Side with whoever you want john, I respect and understand your point, you just dont really see mine.
Sorry for my bad english.
