 Sorrym but with all the effort required (and ISK) to reach Level 5 of anything, I'd think a Level-5 maxed merc, with the right combination of weapons and fittings, and the proper knowledge of coop movement in the match (...let's face it, in Dust 514, proper coop movement know-how is the key to plowing through many "proto-lvl-5" braggers... not struggling to get the level-5 stuff),... would be sufficiently developed enough not to NEED any Master or Grand Wizard ladder to start climbing.
 HOW MUCH more unlocked skill level do you need, when you're profession is only about quickly killing a clone in the face?
I'd much prefer if ALL NEW Skill categories would be introduced to the TRUNK of the tree, ones that novices and masters can access the minute they buy the associated Skillbook.
I wouldn't want MORE "optimize" and "excel" skills added on to the end of each Level-5 weapon branch.
There is so much engineering and electronic-tuning concepts to create "Skill" branches for: Skills to improve default Propulsion on Vehicles, Oscillation cycling on Shield regeneration, PG management to make guns and turrets overheat less,
...or even RACIALLY-EXCLUSIVE Skillbooks (a Sheild Regen increase Skillbook that only Minmatar race has learned about, or an Armour-stacking Skillbook that is only available to Gallente race characters, etc).

Ughh. Dimitri, LOL you're reminding me of my mother ... But hopefully the idea is conveyed: I think it's better to have Skillbooks for ALL NEW knowledge categories,... not more Skillbooks for "optimizing" "ammo-boosting" "quicker-reload" added onto the tail end of our maxed-out existing weapon Skills.
