There are three possibilities
1) The new CCP is the same as the old CCP. All promises, no delivery.

Meanwhile star citizen demonstrates mercs flying through space in a spaceship, landing on a derelict, and getting into a gun fight before turning off the gravity.
Yup the guys making star citizen at least are showing progress unlike CCP which is a very untrustworthy company that unfortunately has the idea of the New Eden Universe with all these games connected to it doesn't seem to know what they want to do or that they're lucky that they still have a community for Dust even after fanfest of 2014

Also supposedly that guy wouldn't talk to anyone but the press at EVE Vegas.

Ya didn't even think of that till u said that lol what he did seems typical of a politician. But still he might have known nothing but the lines that his bosses in CCP gave him.
