CCP, why did you have to have to entice the FotM scrubs with the 4/4 slots on my beautiful suit? :( |

why not 5/3 like caldari? gal and amarr are both 3/5
now because min is 4/4 its the FotM, because of obvious imbalance in slot layouts |

It's called slot envy.
The assault class was very jealous of the logistics slots,so of course when an assault Dev was introduced,they were copied.
4/4 was unique to the lower stat min logistics,but seeing as assaults have 500 eHP before modules with high speed 4/4 was destined to be OP.
But i believe it was intentionally done that way to lure FOTM chasers to the assault class.
And don't worry,the balancing stick will never be used on assaults,it would be inconvenient to CCP to expose that ALL assaults are actually OP.
They will perpetually be FOTM.
This is something you're just going to have to accept i'm afraid.
Unless they are changed to 5/3,that might make a (small) difference.

It's a fast suit, with low ehp (if you fit it well and compare it to other suits) but useful passives with the clip size bonus to CR and SMG and can have a good regen so it's great for solo players.
Scout suits are still doing the job better because of Ewar though. At least MinAssault isn't OP as f*ck and doesn't wallhack.

I like the layout, been a MinLogi primary forever now so to have an assault suit now with my slot layout for me is a great option when I need to be more assault than logi as I can fit almost identically to how I normally do for my style. With the relative bonusing across the (assault) class and that other suits have 5 slots high or low I don't see an imbalance on paper or feel one when I use the builds.
Nerf scouts. Their assault on balance must be stahpt!
