I don't know how many times I played the original Sonic on Sega Genesis only to get to level 7 or 8 and lose my last life so I had to start ALL OVER at the Green hill zone (I think that's what it was called). No infinite lifes. No spawn points. You died? You go back to start, do not pass go, and do not collect lifes or spawnpoints. Thokk Kill. Thokk Crush. Thokk Smash.

I would start with eye of the beholder 1-3 then play daggerfall and then the divinity series. Divinity series and daggerfall seem more advanced than most games made today.
