Not so much read option but the triple option, power option, speed option were pretty nasty starting with '09. The read option honestly wasn't too viable until '12 and not REALLY awesome until '14. Then they crapped on the series because the NCAA is cheaper and stingier than CCP. Oops, Did I say that out loud?

To those throwing out old school games; Ogre Battle 64 on the Nintendo 64. My absolute favorite strategy game ever.

Golden Eye 007 for 64 with the God Gun? Yeah, games back then took some serious work and thought. I don't know how many times I played the original Sonic on Sega Genesis only to get to level 7 or 8 and lose my last life so I had to start ALL OVER at the Green hill zone (I think that's what it was called). No infinite lifes. No spawn points. You died? You go back to start, do not pass go, and do not collect lifes or spawnpoints.
