... do you make me so happy with the awesome 1.9... ness?!
I read your patch notes. I can finally un-spend those five or more million frivolously wasted skill points in sniping and non-essential skills for things that I thought I wanted and had no other means to try out.
I can finally get WP for spawning blueberries in my derpship.
I can FINALLY get SP and ISK proportionate to my boss-like behavior.
Just, just... OVERFLOWING with the pants happiness. Words aren't coming out in the order I mean to type them. Incoherence, babbling.
Rattati, if you're ever in California, this Marine would be honored to buy you a beer, sir. I can't speak for everyone, but for me personally, in your short time with DUST you've completely salvaged my favorite FPS of all time. Even if it becomes Legion, because of YOU, dude, I'll play it.
Come get that beer, Rattati. You've bloody well earned it. |

Holy cow. Frame liked my post.
Leave a comment, bro! Blue tag me! Lol People are instinctually drawn to blue tag posts. It's past time the forum populace is drawn by your blue-ey-ness to a positive post about the game. Lol
Also, and answer to my ponderings would be nice.
Thanks for the like, Frame. |

Should I get checked? If it lasts more than four hours, yes, see your primary care physician.
Well, time to go see doc, I suppose. |

Whine whine whine. Whine. Whine some more.
Someone get these kids some cheese.
Raise your hand if you still love Final Fantasy VII. Raise it again if you think one of the best FPS games of all time was and still is Goldeneye for the N64. Now raise your hand if you believe that what made these games great was their graphics.
Nope. Me neither.
Dust is a GREAT game, and not because it's graphically stunning. It's because we can basically play it as the kind of killer we've always wanted to be in every shooter, well, literally EVER. We have more customization and unique skills in this one game than all other games in the bloody genre combined. Great game mechanics. A DEV team that TALKS, not TO us, but WITH us about our thoughts, concerns, hopes and dreams for our beloved little game. A DEV team that then takes what portions of those very hopes and dreams that they're able to give us and churns them out into gameplay that is fun, and UNIQUE.
So no, DUST will not be outdated if it goes to the PS4, or the XBone, or the PS16. Enough with the computer elitism. A game has never been good or bad because of the medium on which it is PLAYED, but because of the quality of its' content...
and DUST may not be perfect, but it has got some DAMN good content. |

Lloyd Orfay wrote:Still nothing to hype about as no really important changes are going to be made to scouts nor shield tanking would be as viable yet, and finally I think there are no mentions of making ambush OMS better by removing vehicles from it for good.
Literally everything you've just said are opinions that you have not fared to provide supporting evidence for.
Granted, scouts are definitely OP right now, in my humble opinion due to COD style RE throwing and cloaks being so easy to abuse.
What would the friggin point of OMS be if there were no vehicles? What good are installations against infantry? The answer is none at all, unless the infantry are genuinely mentally disabled. |

Holy cow, this stuff is getting serious. Rattati liked my post, too. That's him and Frame so far. I should try to collect the all! Lol
Seriously, though...
Frame, Logibro, Rattati and the rest... you guys are great. This is my favorite game. Even though I've been too busy to play it lately, I sit at work and imagine I'm playing it to pass the time. I wish I could get paid to work on it, or at least do what Rattati does. I've got a passion for story writing and community, which is probably why I like Rattati so much. He's passionate about the game, and about interfacing with us.
You've got my dream job, Rattati. Thanks for being the first person I know of to do it justice. |

Stupid Blueberry wrote:Yeah, I don't know where this update came from, but I'm proud of you guys. I will be buying some AUR in 1.9 and I have resubbed my eve account.
My EVE account is apparently on auto-resubscribe, against my dang will. That was $15 I didn't have. =/
But yeah, when I get the cash, I'll definitely be buying my self an Aurum respec. Time to streamline and get rid of sniper rifles, plus all the useless skills I didn't know any better than not to spec into as a noob. Lol |

I'm not sure how your reply applies at all to what we're talking about, but sure. Down with all things non-Gallente. |
