Look, 3rd person camera prime reason to exist is to attract more girls to game - beside that there is no 'need' to have it in FPS game.

The Legion footage was also entirely in first-person.
Being able to switch perspectives in an FPS just leads to cheap tactics and upset players.

No it shouldn't. Just because you prefer doesn't mean you have to try to chnge every game to your liking. Legion will be an FPS. And including 3rd Person would suck, because people using 3rd person would have an advantage.

Actually I made some test with 3rd and 1st person and some were better in 1st person than in 3rd because they said and quote " I could feel like he was there and he was" others said " because my character was blocking my view,only reason I died". That guy mostly just made an excuse also was asian. Name was Xing.
But I'm not saying that everyone was better, some in 3rd did say that the character vision got them some kills.
I'm good with swords,knives, and the Amarrian Lightsaber.

I'd probably be ok with a third person view as long as it was tied very closely to your avatar and always points directly at you, no matter what angle it's at. This would let you, I think, look at your suit and behind you but not around corners. If you can zoom out far enough that your suit no longer takes up most of the screen then it'd be impossible to prevent people from peeking around corners with it. Basically make it for checking yourself out and checking your six, but not very effective for fighting.

Ya,only not really being able to see far behind but rather just your back and your front.
Back like your toons back not like look behind him back.
Locking corners so its just your front.
That way you can see your awesomenes and you can't really cheat.
