Beyond the 4 seconds of footage shown of EVE: Legion in the movie, it appears that Reddit is upvoting it hard, with it currently being at 4151 karma and on the front page.
Some interesting things they note is accurate count of bullets in magazines used in guns, empty clicks (gun maniacs, is it called a "dry-fire"?) when the user fires with no bullets, forcing a reload (which again is shown on screen), and others have mentioned something further: accurate grip holds of the weapons.
Here's a sample clip that was released called Bar Fight.
I have yet to see this movie, but the more and more I hear about it, the more it makes me want to see it.

It is quite good, and all those things "reddit" has mentioned is true. I was discussing with the friend I saw the movie with how often heroes in movies have practically unlimited ammo and can hold a rocket launcher with one hand.
John Wick does none of these things, and is all the better for it

Eve Legion footage and Reddit are not reasons to see a movie. There is a part of me that wants to see John Wick murder all those folks that killed the dog. There is also a part of me that does not want to see that as it would be too disturbing to watch a little defenseless dog get killed. |

My friends and I noticed a higher fidelity of realism in the filmmaking. It's also entertaining in general. They put a lot of just noticeable effort into the back story of the universe the movie takes place in.
The scene where the puppy is killed sucks. Because puppies. But it is also not graphic. Movie makers know nobody wants to see that. Nor do you want to spend special effects budget doing it, because obviously, nobody's going to harm the puppy to make the movie. Also, after that scene, you officially lose any sympathy for the villains for the rest of the movie. Because puppies.
