Which argument do you believe is more valid?

Aim Assist is good because it helps bridge the gap between low skill players and high skill players because while it greatly helps lower skill players it doesn't really help higher skill players because their skill is high enough that aim assist doesn't help their already good aim.
 Or

Aim Assist is bad because while it allows lower skilled players to improve somewhat this benefit is negated by the fact that it also helps high skilled players who get an even better benefit out of aim assist than low skill players. This is because high skill players know how to better use aim assist.

 Both are invalid.

Skill does not equal to hand/eye coordination.
Regardless the top is a bit valid because using a controller you would have less precision in coordination of your weapon compared to a mouse.

This discussion is not about aiming with a mouse. Why are you talking about mice? I never once mentioned it.

This post is suppose to ba about how aim assist affects the relation between low and high skill players: not mice.

Dust's AA is so mild it's not even worth complaining about; it literally only kicks in if you don't move the right analogue stick at all. Do you notice a difference when you toggle your AA settings? Because I don't,

Between the two, the 2nd statement is more valid IMO. I'm not opposed to aim assist in general. But I feel that bullet magnetism should be removed. I hate seeing shots clearly not on target, still register.(not lag, as it NEVER happens when I use my mouse) It reminds me too much of COD, with its 360, quickscope, headshots, that barely grazes the targets shoulder

Why don't we get it removed for a week or 2 and see how that goes and then decide.

I remember when they turned it on, suddenly everyone's deaths started rising and players got good seemingly overnight..

Yup agree here with mz matee boyo, i saw many games with more OP AimAss than Dust.
From newest ones destiny for example, AimAss is awesomely OP here, or in older Borderlands that headshots.
From what i know, Dust have only one issue with AimAss and that is an Bolt now.

no offense, but after playing destiny, i think this thread is irrelevant. But to answer your question I pick the 1st one. Aim assist makes console games "seem" fluid and it isn't game breaking as it stands now.
