I would like an option to prevent people from using the nanite injector on me. A lot of times a teammate will revive a person even though a multitude of enemies are around leading to the revived person dying immediately. Granted I have taken advantage of this issue way more than I have been screwed by it I still find it to be pretty messed up. I once killed the same guy 7 times in a row because that persons teammate kept reviving him over and over again knowing damn well the person is immediately going to die again. Worst case situation for me was a few months back when I was killed 9 times in a row due to the nanite injector. |

I think it's because you don't have the immediate option of refusing a revive attempt. I've seen the same thing. its gotten me a lot of kills when a red was reviving his buddy in the wide open. I promptly killed a poor sap 6-8 times before i decided to bleed the guy out....i was running out of ammo in my ACR!
I think a revive icon should only show up for those who call for help. Therefore if you don't want a pickup, don't call for help. Then nobody will know you need a revive because the icon will not show up, you will just see a clone on the floor and assume its been terminated.

Nanite injectors are much more valuable if you're not using free fits.

Changes:
* Can only be picked up when you call for help
* Reduce both the sticking and standing up animation by half
* Try to remove "ghost" icons (pick up icons of dead clones that you can't interact with)

Battlefield does the revival of a wounded teammate far better than what has been suggested. Give the person the option to opt out of resuscitation or accept revival. Don't force the person to spam call for help or no one would ever get picked up.
How long til this hits PC?

This used to be possible lol and we could also shoot injectors at people from a distance but the velocity of the injector would bleed out the teammate. Those were the good old days when men were men and dust was well still collecting.

DJIINGÇÖs expressed this the clearest, and the solution is right in his post. The moment you are incapacitated, there is already a mechanic in the GÇ£XGÇ¥ button to allow you to call for help the moment the top-down mapscreen appears. I am assuming this is supposed to trigger the GÇÿrevive meGÇ¥ icon that shows up on every medicGÇÖs Hud. IGÇÖm not sure anyone has confirmed if that button actually works as labelled (it may just be turned off, like the GÇ£bay doorsGÇ¥ button on the dropship controls).
This label of this GÇ£call for helpGÇ¥ button has got the wrong logic to it. Seeing the icon whenever a fellow player has fallen, so she can try to revive him, should stay automatic. The mechanism that triggers someone to try her best to revive a downed teammate should be DEFAULT in the game, not optional GÇöit wins matches to save every single clone life you can.
Along DJIIN suggestion, the GÇ£XGÇ¥ button should simply be changed to give you the OPTION to expire (quick-terminate?) your injured clone from the incapacitated state, so that buddies wonGÇÖt see you as revivable, and you can be allowed to consciously choice to sacrifice your clone life for the benefit of getting back into the match sooner.
In effect, the devs only need to switch (reverse?) the function of the GÇ£XGÇ¥ button option thatGÇÖs already in the gameplay. LetGÇÖs keep pushing this as the request---it should be a slick-easy adjustment for the devs to make, compared with those bigtime fixes theyGÇÖre working on.
