I agree that the Racial HAV, LAV, and Dropship should be implemented in Dust 514.
This way once they are released then with the Hotfixes that CCP Rattati and with the feed of US ( The community) it can make it much more balanced.
For example, If Legion were to be released then with all of those Hotfixes that were put into Dust 514, they can be put into Legion.
This way the Lunch of Legion won't be as bad and if its turns out good = Good for CCP, good for Dust 514, and Good for the reviewers.
With the hotfixes that Dust 514 is receiving, this can save many hours to the Legion Team. I enjoy Dust more than how it was a year ago.
- Minmatar, and Amarr Vehicles are left to be introduced. - The Drones. <--- Very serious about this. - Gallente and Amarr Heavy weapons. - Not sure if they should add Caldari, Minmatar, and Amar Shotguns. <-- What is your opinion on that ? - The pilot dropsuits would be nice. - Contact Grenades which I guess its going to be like the Impact Grenade from Battlefield 4. Not sure but maybe. - The RDV's and the MCC's <--- It wouldn't change the game alot but it would make FW and PC much more interesting.
Lastly, - Bring back Corp battles. <--- This one is the one that needs to be brought back ASAP.

Well one of them I assume is the EVE alt of Fox Gaden or one of the other Immortal Guides tutors, one doesn't care, and one mentioned it was "nice".
That's hardly excited.

That's hardly excited. I'm as excited about Dust 1.9 and the remote possibility of 1.10 as the next guy... but this ^
Eve Online players are only barely aware Dust 514 is still a thing. If anything, they are waiting to hear an announcement for it to become Legion or that Legion was cancelled. That is the extent of their "excitement".
My advice to you, playa...

Also, if you look at the Dust section of the EVE forums, you will see how dead it is.
Basically just a few people that actually play both games.
By and large, especially from the reaction I saw on EVE forums after FF, they greatly dislike us. We are console players and are beneath a majority of them.
This is the only reason for me to want to play Legion.
Because they are excited for it, and I am going to knife me some Mother F*cking EVE players.
They are going to have to respect us the HARD way.

Realistic is removing something from the game that shouldn't be there.
e.g- fixing the glitch in the Orbital Artillery Outpost where pressing start causes your vehicle to explode.......
Asking for something that should have been in the game 12 months ago.
e.g- Racial Parity for Vehicles....
Way outside of the stadium.

The replies here were funny! Thanks all!
I also have the same suspicions about the "PersCompu-versus-Consoler gamer" disdain among the players of EVE related games. There is a barrier of prejudice between us,... that I kinda naively hoped the Dust-to-EVE interaction link would be the first game of its kine to help erase. (....you're a very foolish clone, Celesta, believing in fairy tales).
But I do believe EVE players WERE very excited about Dust being successful in the beginning. From what I understand about EVE-Online, the players fight for ownership of systems, yet have almost zero contact with the surface of a planet (there's a Planetary Interaction mechanic in their game---but apparently it's WAY complicated to operate, and only lets you list a "colony" on a planet, not actually lets you see or walk on the planet's surface), so the concept of "owning" a planet must be torture for EVE players.
So I'm sure they WANTED footmen that could march and own planets for them, just as much as we Consolers enjoy BEING footmen who have real shootouts on planets.
I think they have mostly lost any remaining expectation that Dust will finally develop and join them. They'd be happy if Legion OR Dust actually succeeds and makes the link, don't get me wrong. They're just not holding their breath waiting for us anymore, that's all. They have mostly considered us the wannabe's who lost. I know,... that sound bad for me to say. Let's see what next year holds for this game.

I'd just like to see vehicle, turret and weapon parity if for no other reason than to have what would be considered a basically complete game and one that CCP certainly marketed. Let's have some semblance of completion before alegion gets going. A half baked product dumped before another try really doesn't look good for CCP. It isn't good for marketing nor reputation. CCP really needs to polish that tarnished image before kicking it into high gear with Valkyrie or Legion.
Also, why does everything have to be racially equal? The shotgun is Gallente (or is it Min) so the racial equivalent of that sort of weapon would be a better solution. Shotgun denotes a certain, slug based weapon. The mass driver is Min right? That would be the Min equivalent of that sort of big blast alpha damage weapon so let's have a different sort of weapon for the others. Maybe it'd be like a shotgun but not called a shotgun.

Let's see what next year holds for this game.
Eve players did not care overall for DUST. It became worse when it moved to console. Before that some players expressed a curiosity about it and since it was going to be on the PC were interested in piddling with it. The console crowd is all about fast twitch and looked down upon by the likes of Eve's slow twitch, thinking man's game style playerbase.
Once it got switched to console it became a laughing stock. Nobody was going to buy a console, especially if they had a different brand console already to play DUST. The FPS aspect was anathema enough, but to shell out money for what was now to become a dyed in the wool console game? Nope.
Even the people who expressed interest lost it when the playstation development was announced. Hell, even I only just bought a console last year only so my kids could play Skylanders. I wasn't even going to get a PS3 if it wasn't a good choice otherwise. I did want the excuse to try out DUST, but I wouldn't do it just for DUST.
Lol, I started playing DUST one month before it was officially released and that was exactly the wrong time to have bought into the whole thing. The Fanfest screw made it worse. Glad I didn't buy a PS3 just for DUST. I hope Legion happens and is a welcome do over.

I have to agree with some of the people there in Eve Online that CCP should use Dust as a means of optimizing any content that will later be meant for Legion. The logic here is that if something like a facility or socket were to be stable and have decent frame rates with no memory leaks while still looking great in a game like Dust 514 on the PS3, then that content is more than ready to be ported over to Legion because Legion will be on a more powerful and flexible platform.

CCP announced many times that Legion will be using the same engine as Dust (Unreal Engine 3). The primary difference will be the fact that Legion will be on a more heavily modified version of Unreal Engine 3.

The problem with adding racial vehicles to DUST 514 is that Vehicles have been so horribly butchered with the over-simplification vehicle patch that there is almost no way to actually make two more "kinds" that would even be distinguishable from the two we already have.
But that's just my opinion...
No, I don't like how cookie-cutter vanilla our vehicles are right now, though I do understand that adding "Options" does add to balancing issues, but still...
Diversity is dead.
EDIT: To be clear though the dropsuit changes are amazingballz <3

I think the minmatar should get a shotgun, but not the caldari or amarr. They can get different specialist weapons. A shotgun for the minmatar kind of makes sense. Also, we can then have shield based (gallente) and armour based (minmatar) shotguns.

Subscriptions are not the same as players.
The 300k unique users number is highly suspect as well. Are they counting each individual toon, or each PSN account? Do PSN accounts from the same IP address get lumped in as a single user or to they classify them as unique? I know of a couple of people who are actively farming toons to get the recruiter rewards on their own. Do those people get counted as 25 or 50 unique users or are they correctly tallyed as singular users?
As for the eve numbers, a person with just one eve account is in the extreme minority. Most of those are more than likely very new players, or high sec bears who don't even participate in eve beyond shooting red crosses and buying plex with their ISK.
Eve does not have 500,000 paying customers. Never has, likely never will. I don't even break a sweat and plex 4 accounts every month. I could probably do more, but I am saving ISK to buy a couple of super toons.
