Well, since the nerf bat struck (some would say club) Rattati has put up a thread asking for feed back/ ideas to adjust dropships. A lack of Dev interaction has seen the thread veer crazily of course. Pre-delta there was the offer of hotfixing at any downtime any large.
Certain things have been well established unrelated to swarms,
- The heat penalty increase on small raills for the Incubus directly related to investment into the skill (8 shots without skill, 7 shots at proto, 5 shots with gunner).
- Blasters are still inefficient for the nose turret
- Myrons are still the least favorite fit.
- Dropships are not capable of carrying out AV.
- Prototype modules being the minimum practical fitting requirement, shutting out dropships for new pilots
- The current ROF bonus is still considered far too low (by AV and Pilots alike)
- Are there any plans in the works for the ADS bonus be replaced?
out swarms is that thier tracking is still waaaay too high.
Just asking, considering the investment is well on par for any prototype infantry role, core updgrades and all, withoot a similar return on ivestment) (4.4 million sp to get a turret damage bonus of 10% and a ROF bonus of 15% for example) what tweaks are you looking at?
I'm asking here, because i'm not proposing any changes in this thread, or debating about V vs AV. I'm just curious as to when or even if there is going to be adjustments applied so i can plan my SP investment accordingly.
I am a vocal pilot, regardless, I would still like to think something is in the works rather than going full bitter vet mode and grumbling ''it aint gonna happen''

They need to bring back variants. Both for vehicles and turrets. Hopefully, 1.9. |

Yeah, but hey mad tweaks to the Dropship are out today. So the original post is for naught.
Swamr turn radius by another 10% from 80 degrees to 70 degrees.
Hidden heat penalty for the incubus removed (it was to offset the ROF bonus to the Incubus).
So there you go.
