Made a new thread since I can't find the other one for the life of me. Mostly just a few spit-balled ideas I was thinking about while bored at work. Most of this is based on the (dramatic) misconceptions I had back in closed beta over some items on the test server (bear in mind that a lot of the stuff in that post never came to fruition).
Spectre - Assault ~ Bonus to scan dampening and reduced fitting for cloaking devices ~ Loses weapon fitting reductions, possibly module slots Cross between assault and scout, lacking the speed and versatility of either
Shrike - Commando ~Gains grenade slot and increased grenade splash damage/radius ~Loses equipment slot and reload speed bonus Grenadier who depends on others to supply powerful crowd control
Titan - Sentinel ~Gains increased heavy weapon potential or defense ~Loses all stamina. Cannot jump, sprint, or melee. True point defense.
Insurgent - Scout ~Gains increased damage bonus and equipment slot. ~Loses cloak fitting reduction and dampening bonus. Light field logi with a sidearm, without stealth and equipment bonuses
Operator - Logistics ~Increased scan radius and precision ~Sidearm only True support at the expense of offensive capability
Wraith - Commando ~Bonuses to range and mag capacity ~Loses bonus to damage and reload speed Suppression unit with bonus based on racial weaponry

Tiericide applies to things like arbitrary power levels - standard/advanced/prototype sort of stuff. This would be added more specializations to the mix that would have to be balanced out in the same way that your typical suits (Assault/Scout/etc) would be. The post-level 5 moniker is really just that: a moniker.
Which, if we're going to start considering this as tiers we're going to have to nyx the Frames all together because they're practically useless for any reason other than being a barrier to unlocking the typically used suits that have bonuses. These aren't expanding on uses, they're just changing out bonuses to provide more options for players.
Does it apply to veterans? Absolutely, that's the entire premise of post-level 5 content. I don't see any reason why we shouldn't have that because there are a lot of players who feel like they've hit a barrier. I myself already have 30+ skills at level 5 and there is literally nothing I can do for my Gallente Assault to further specialize into it. There's nothing left for me to attain.
You don't have to look far to see the inherent desire for further progression. Vehicle users have been begging for it ever since the Marauder/Enforcer tanks were taken away.

They already have a multitude of bonuses as is and I think that adding more onto that would just further increase the gap between new player and veteran.
