Actually, I better go check on that

I am literally 150 isk short... If you mean AUR to buy the suits then get the $0.99 starter pack, it'll give you what you need, some extra, a booster and a few other bits and bobs

TheD1CK wrote:As with most your posts you make good points, and I'm well aware of the situation 1.9 is a great change of pace, though players have the right to remain skeptical Legit, so let me provide some additional information as I am able.
TheD1CK wrote:- Fingers crossed on new maps (introducing a map that was cancelled due to lag issues) There are performance increases coming as well so this concern has been thought of and while I'm not sitting over the shoulder for QA watching what they do I lean towards thinking this is something they'll check for.
TheD1CK wrote:- NPC Market, an awesome feature, long overdue but with it's timing of release I can't help but feel that they want to burn off Dust assets to clear inventories for Legion. I have literally heard not a word about any thought process of this kind (prior to your post here). To the best of my understanding it is present simply because the Current/New Dust dev team is well aware of now desired this is as a feature so when the possibility of a 1.9 patch arose they moved it to high on the list.
TheD1CK wrote:I blame Boba's fetta (DMG Merc) He got back from a stint of inactivity and I expected joy when informing him of the updates, but could not argue with his view that it's a bad they killed off the playerbase to release overdue features without warning so much later, when the players have mostly moved on. I fully agree CCP should do what they can to bring in revenue but just not happy with how it's being done.
If CCP were not keeping everything behind closed doors I could be much happier with the current game Though Vanity suits/No attempts at NPE yet selling new AUR starter fits/surprise updates ... Does not show me that they have learned from past mistakes and more may be incoming SOONtm
NPE needs more work, and is actively being looked at and no question that things have been handled badly in the past (especially Fan Fest) but to say "it's bad that they..." in this context is also a bit inaccurate because the literal "they" in question (corporate name aside) is no longer the same. Does the work from CCP Rattati and the current Dust team delver on every promise the guys before them made? No, at least not yet. Would it have been better if this work was done at release, or even during beta? Of course, no question.
But when you look at the increased levels of interaction with the community from CCP Rattati & CCP LogiBro I think it is more than fair to say there is evidence of a change in paradigm. Would I like more? Yeah, I love communication and vigorously advocate it. And will I feel better about all of it the longer it goes on? Yes again
But lets be real here, the current team is doing a bang up job with what they were handed, they were able to fight for a patch to the game when 'no one' expected one and meanwhile they are doing their best to deliver long requested elements and features (not all of them yet true, and some are a bit of a work around - BPOs for example aren't a paint kit, but they are massively easier to add/release than coding an entirely new system into the game would be).
So remaining skeptical isn't unreasonable, but - and this is key - Dust moves forward or stalls out based on what happens in game. To wrap up I'll quote myself from elsewhere.
Cross Atu wrote: History has given us plenty of reasons to cut our losses, and I do not blame anyone who chooses to do so. But for my money at least, CCP Ratattti has given enough reason for me not to do so (the guy is so dedicated that he has worked weekends on top of the normal hours). I've seen Dev interaction during their vacations (LogiBro is a wizard) and while neither they nor anyone else can promise a certainty about the future I am willing to risk it because I know, win lose or draw, that those guys are giving their best.
I have made my personal choice to take the risk and give Ratattti et al their shot. What each individual chooses for themselves is entirely their own call (and that is as it should be).
I can't promise outcomes (again, life is like that), only effort, but for what it''s worth, the effort is there in spades.
Cheers, Cross
