i also use uplinks and hives for bait, but not near as effective as a blueberry hacking an objective

Long range confirmation is all you really need for the hive to start looking for general direction.

LAV bait was one of my more favorite ones. Draws out AVers and distracts them or any errant person wanting to hack it. Though this is far more effective in a two man team.
