well I'm kind a confused here because do we really need that little boost of damage mod put in the gun.
well put this way, we Gallente don't really need that little boost since we already have the bonuses coming after we get access the assault suit right or may I could be wrong about that. if I took this regular Rail Rife and started shooting at this enemy he would be prolly dead about 9- 10 shoots.
If I even put the damage mod in it wont do that much damage any ways .
Can someone help out here this is really confusing ?

Ultimately, the decision is between damage mods or stacking more shields (or making them recharge faster).
In most situations, adding shields is more effective, in my experience....particularly with light rifle weapons (AR, CR, RR)...but most of my experience is with shield-based suits, not the Gal Assault which is a armor based suit.
That said, the only time I find damage mods useful with rifles is when I use the RR, stay near cover, and stay at range -- this makes my lack of HP less problematic.
Personally, I think you should just try your suit with and without damage mods and see what you like.
Regardless, I would recommend not using more than 2 damage mods, because of the stacking bonus. |

The Gallente Assault doesn't have bonuses which increases the AR's damage.
That would be the Commando.

Damage mods generally aren't worth putting on your suit. Using them is more of a preference than anything, and while I can't tell you the numbers, some players did the crunching before the damage mods were nerfed and showed that shield extenders performed better than mods in terms of increasing and decreasing times. Certain weapons are going to function a bit better with mods, but again, it's mostly preference because the boost just isn't high enough to warrant them. Only by stacking three or more complex modifiers are you going to see any real difference, though with certain weapon types like projectile and laser, they can help even the lost damage out when going against armor or shields.
If you're not specced into them and thinking about it, I'd recommend just avoiding them. They're not really worth the SP anymore.
Nova Knives are best sidearm.

I see so even without the damage mods we do more damage ?
