I'd love this.
But the problem is finding groups that aren't tied to a certain faction. Most corps are made up of people that fight for whomever.
If you had something set up with a group, maybe the winner of the previous match gets to choose the faction they are going to fight for. Thus allowing for them to satisfy their members' needs for their faction gear/standings.

To me they'd be better off providing some team deploy UI and pushing people to do their outside of PC team deploying in FW. If they tweak the payouts to the point where buying FW boosters is enticing then they'll make money hand over foot.

I think it's alot to do with activity, I feel with more players would bring alot more fun to fw. adding all the items in lp store is a must. I spoke to a few Corp mates about the idea of an event. Where amar verse min and gal vs cal and with that all the players can use are the lp's to the faction they fight for!. To see a team of armour tanked amar fight the speedy min in a fight is amazing in my view. The event would bring more lp's, sp and also they idea of a faction bpo suit? After compete so much! I don't know if I worded this right haha
I like the sound of it. But I think limited gear would be a massive undertaking for the devs.

In it's current form I agree.
If they were able to hire corporations to fight for their side I think it would be HUGE!
There could be two forms of FW. The regular FW where individuals could choose a faction and do what we do now, but unconnected.
But corporation contracts would be give Eve FW some benefit that they'd want to pay for. I think it should completely take the place of PC (or change the way PC works to allow it to be practice for FW ops).
EDIT: Dust corporations would not belong to a faction. They would be mercenaries.

(A type of search, join feature in the FW contracts section displaying teams active would work either)
And any merc assigned 'Combat Officer' roles is added to the channel, with the same goal (Syncing)
To add encouragement CCP create a DUST FW leaderboard displaying corps activity via the channel.
And Syncing for different factions would lower your leaderboard position, discouraging farming both sides
But not impacting mercs deploying single squads into any faction they choose.
Well that's the idea anyway, if others have input on how to set this up - Post it Youre not alone... ive already set up a channel called FACTION FIGHT CLUB for this very reason. If we could get just like 100 like minded individuals we could really have some good fights.

p.s. I'm pretty sure I'm still in DMG chat, if you see me in game chances are some Amarr FW qsync is going on. That's pretty much all I do nowadays. You'll find all the fight you need if you drop into minmatar then.
(if I'm on longer than the time it takes for me to get my daily SP bonus and then log out that is) lol, yeah we tried a fail-sync before, 32 mercs agreed, 12 showed up, but some good fights  personally I do not try to commit to FW but having a better system to deploying good opposition would make it worthwhile to play, and use team deploys, Qsyncing is usually crap in the end currently I'll start joining the channel when I have squads online
It would be good for squad leaders to post up in the channel if they have a squad available for sync.
