Since FF the forums have slowly, but surely, withered into nothing but cynicism, depression, anxiety, and all around "un-good feelings."
Now that 1.9 has been announced, even the feature and discussion section has grown with a voluptuous air of ideas and even greater hope. Will it be taken from us again? Will it all be for naught? Does CCP still care?
I'm happy for the new patch and all, but don't forget "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me..."
(insert canabis infested, secularly obsessed, FPS lingo hashtag maymays here)

The negativity on the forums is impressive. As you said, the un good feelings I have been running around but until, i don't know, today. Even with the announcement of 1.9, there is still a lot of negativity. Personally, I'm happy for the update. I don't care about a damn respect. My choices are nothing but my choices and I have to live with the consequences. We should be thankful for what we do get. Instead, I've seen more than a few threads about things that we didn't get. |

If you continue to hang around and risk getting shamed twice, then you'd deserve it.
Anyway, legion, the writing is on the wall and a lot of us will be migrating. We are playing legion beta build 1.8 and have known this since fanfest lol.
Soon to be legion beta build 1.9.

I don't know. it seems like the forums are generally more positive. Or at least it seems like they're getting that way.

Eh. Nothing to hype about.
The current "fixes" are just duct tape randomly dispersed on scratches while the gashes in the metal still remain.
Hopefully maps can be cycled out for more tactically correct versions of the maps, but nothing really special besides that is going to happen. |
