Trying to actually kill armor suits anymore is exceptionally difficult with the assault variant. The Breach is really the only one that still holds its' own, but I miss my high ROF pistol that I fell in love with so very long ago. Nova Knives are best sidearm.

I'd just rather see the other weapons buffed. The ScP mostly, the Ion Pistol could still use some work, maybe even tweak the Flaylock a bit (though I've once more fallen in love with it) I don't mind a powerhouse, as long as the other sidearms can compete in some way or another. It's like the Magnum in Battlefield (though I hate comparing something in this game to that beloved .44) it hits like a truck, can easily one shot people, but the disadvantages are a low ROF and small magazine. It's balanced, IMO, but the other weapons are, and that's why everyone says it's OP. Hopefully CCP will continue working on the sidearms till they're all viable in one way or another. Nova Knives are best sidearm.

It should be a 'specialized' weapon that works at its prime under conditions that would make the Rail Rifle shine as well. Not an all around weapon that incites disbelief and resembles the ScP's at its best (maybe even better). The ScP and IP need small dmg buffs to make them the versatile pistols they should be. Give the Magsex some love.

Strafing scouts I can't hit with a ScrP get killed with a Bolt Pistol. Kind of point and shoot and it does the work. Because, that's why.

Mate, a lot of us have tried it and have laughed at how OP its volley damage is. And then for those using the controller, it has some sort of miraculous smart rounds that seem to hit even when you should have clearly missed your target. Hence why we call it OP. Well I never saw you ingame so as far as I know the only bolt pistol users I know that I've seen ingame; Demon Buddah, Cyrius Li-Moody and Ozarow. Besides I didn't continue skilling into Bolt Pistol until mid Charlie when I was running it at lvl 3. Matter fact going one on one with Ozarow one match, both of us running Knives and Bolt Pistol(me with SR-25 and him with Kaalakiota), made me wanna continue to 5 and then eventually after MCC I put it to prof 3. But it is OP, I'm sorry but that buff was kinda unnecessary for the weapon. Maybe I'm a bolt pistol hipster but it was fantastic in Charlie. Delta made it destroy all competition with 2 shots, sometimes 1 if it was a glass cannon scout. It's no longer the sacred pistol, it's been commercialized and now everyone can be Marty McFly.

Ive had it maxed out on two characters since it came out, reload five on a proto cal assault and scout and my other and its no different than a scp in regards to using it as the shield stripper and switching to a cr, or any other armor ripper, did it need a change, no not really but its not op, if it kept the extra shots then ya, but honestly it only needed a pg reduction and two more in the clip,. But now that its done only way to fix it is damage reduction, but softly. Mtl 160 Std 170 Adv 195 Pro 220 I rock it with three damage mods and proficiency 5 so wreck my favorite gun if you like but I'm still gonna wreck face wit it. DONT EVER COMPLAIN, USE CAPS LOCK OR POINT OUT WHAT BROKEN WITH OUR GAME OR WE WILL DEFINITELY BAN YOUR ASS FOR 6 MONTHS
