Some of you may have seen my Doppleganger wearing my name tag meleeing people lately. I recently gave a friend my account info since I knew that he would enjoy it more than me, and because I've been away from Dust since shortly before the fanfest apocalypse.
I planned on maybe never playing Dust seriously again and just waiting for legion, but with all of the promises and progress CCP has been making good on, I've decided to give Dust one last chance with CCP claiming 1.9 is on the horizon.
I'm not totally convinced that CCP has learned from even some of their mistakes, but I am convinced that they've entered a sink or swim mode lately and started doing a lot of things right.
Anyway if 1.9 is the last good thing that happens to dust, which it very well could be, let's make the most of it at least. I encourage everyone who has quit as a result of CCP's poor professionalism from either Fan Fest or from my past mistakes last year to come back. I know I'm not exactly the most popular person around here but I really don't want this opportunity to go to waste.
Let's wake up PC and the war room, please do your best to bring back anyone who has quit. |

Yeah that's true. Did you ever hear I got an indirect message from CCP about it? Because I did.
They said something along the lines of "Thank you for bringing awareness to issues we have been neglecting, we will not punish you as it is not against the rules to abuse an in game mechanic" it was paraphrased by the middle guy so don't take that quote forbatim, but that was the ghist of it.
They also said they didn't understand why it was such an issue because they thought that it would drain a users stamina so quickly that they would be done for after the first kill anyway. In a way they were right, you had to be very careful about your stamina otherwise no escape, but they clearly didn't know what 2 greens in the low slots does to a clone |
