Nerfed ranges suck.
Nerfed shot delay time sucks.
Just isn't very much fun to play any more. But hey, CCP has given up on Dust already anyway, right? |

Sniper rifle head shots are pretty much luck, -- that or you have some noob standing perfectly still looking at the map.
At the range you are at when you zoom in, your view area (scope) is either very small and the target moves out of the scope very, very, very quickly (before you can get a shot off), or else you are far enough away that you tend to be trying to hit a single pixel for a head shot If you aren't far enough away, 29 out of 30 times there is some obstruction between you and any targets.
Yeah, I love sitting around a whole game waiting to have maybe 1 or 2 shots at any target. That does happen some games since the changes. Boring!
You guys that are bitching about snipers haven't trained one up and tried it.
If CCP doesn't want snipers in the game, just delete them.
I haven't played in several weeks because, like I said, it just isn't that much fun any more. Some of you don't care about that. Fine. If CCP doesn't care if it looses its players who like to snipe, so be it. I've played since early beta, so may be it's time to go.

Good one. I'm 66 so I remember him well. 
I'd say my average kill is between 250 to 350 m, but I do love to get those kills near 450 m... especially if they are a head shot kill. You're right, though, I do spend a fair amount of time running around trying to find better snip locations on certain maps. Some of them just SUCK for sniping. I sprint at about 10+ M/sec. Still I feel the game isn't as much fun as it was. My K/D ratio is about 9.0. It was getting near 10 before the nerf.
So why don't I do something else? I tried that quite a bit in beta. For most all other weapons I'm too old and slow and my reaction time and hand/eye coordination suck compared to most young players. They are better than me. Period. I appreciate that and respect them for it. After all, I was almost 30 before in-home video games even existed! So, I do what I can do best, and that's sniping. Otherwise I find that I don't even make much of a challenging target.
