Hotfix Echo, will hopefully fix the pistol rampage and maybe alter the ADS futher or more balancing of vehicles, Balance on the ground is decent bar tanked scouts and confused logistics players so those could be looked at
Overall I hope Rattati focuses on balancing to a suitable level, and if possible break the chain for - Hotfix Fun... strange concept around here but it's seriously lacking in current gameplay so.. Numerous features that 'could' be Hotfixable or require relatively small updates to improve gameplay
- Team Deploy - This could be impossible due to balancing issues and activity but I would like to hear why this is not done. One method to do it would be stage it at certain times in FW servers eg. 17.00 teams register for FW, by 18,00 the teams deploy... could be repeated at later times to suit international activity so.. (R)17.00-18.00(D) 20.00-21.00//23.00-00.00//02.00-03.00 or whichever times suit/available (R)Register-Deploy(D) . This saves CCP having to run a constant team deploy feature while giving us access to using it during certain hours or days of the week depending what they could set up... 0o??
- Game Modes - Amb/Skr/Dom.... again... and again and again.... with maps that are set up to lose from one side..?? You can see why this really kills gameplay and it is something that could be sorted without even adding anything. Ambush - Shrink maps for 50 clone gamemode - seperate search on finder Domination - Some maps are not built for there to be one objective planted in the middle so would.. It be possible to edit this to a RUSH (BattleField) scenario where the nulcannon is hacked - timer starts, once that expires a New nulcannon comes online setting 3-4 nulcannons per game..??
- Role Play - Something not considered setting up battles is the roles used in each team, this could be looked at Allowing mercs to queue battle via their chosen role allowing Scotty to mix them evenly...ish Squads could have to select a certain 'role' to determine their place in team selection.. This could lead to some really good fights if set up well, OR it could provide something like role vs role, -ScoutsVScouts//HeavyVHeavy//AssaultVAssault OR VEHICLE ONLY servers
*Just a few of my thoughts of improving gameplay, I know development is 'gone' so can't expect much*
So my request is that some of the Hotfix efforts be directly aimed at improving gameplay, by adding new variations of maps/vehicles/weapons/suits and gamemodes to use them in Feel free to post other idea's on tweaking gamemodes to improve play, the less changes needed to run them the more likely Rattati could get something sorted
If CCP could clarify what could/would/should be possible that would be great

A monkey can see flaws in my proposals so add some of your own We can all agree that something to freshen up gameplay is needed, I'm open to suggestions CCP could alter current gamemodes simply to provide a different experience to what we have.
- Small map, 50 clone ambush
A few of the smaller sockets we have make for better games of ambush, add some more !!! Simply by enlarging the redline leaving a sectioned off area for 50 clone bloodbaths The old manus peak ambush was much better than currently, the large maps should be OMS only
- Skirmish 2.0: One team defends (5 objectives) the other assaults with more clones than DEF
So any thoughts on this?

So from your reply... Hotfix : fun .. may have died but I'm either ignorant or really dumb so I'll continue Changes that could be hotfixed would be epic just to add changes NOW but likely not possible in a hotfix Tricky situation... which is why I would really like to see CCP round up the hotfixes til Ratatti is pleased And give us an update to gameplay that is desperately needed since before the FF announcements
- I'm intrigued that mini-ambush would be more work than Skirm 2.0.. both are old features to an extent
Thanks for the reply though and seen as you say this is an active topic I will leave a question
What gameplay changes could be made with minimal Updates/Rebuilds?? (Cross sums up some) And what is your opinion on the importance of adding new game features??

We can hope so, it will be interesting to see progress by Christmas and see where it goes from there If CCP added - Basic BPO's either separately or as part of Merc/Elite/Vet Packs then.. cha-ching .. The Queef BPO's will show them just how many mercs will part with $ for a new shiny toy
Imagine what mercs would pay for shinys they have wanted for over a year!! I'm holding out for NK-CR-RR-BP-PLC along with A-I + M-I Scout suits then I'll pay up :D As much as I love Dust, from before fanfest -- until 1.9 announcement I would not have spent $$ Seeing old BPOs was a good start, once they get new BPOs available that should increase AUR sales
Thats my list, 5 guns - 2 suits, add that with other mercs who would buy their choice = Lots of AUR
