Yes there turn speed and relode are slow but dear lord when I hear a missle tank fire I nearly **** myself,the rate of fire and damage completely wreck my blaster maddie.
Rate of fire or damage decrease please cause tank fights usually last but with them it usually only last 5-15 seconds
But of course a decrease to damage or rate of fire would need a relode buff.

Cause if your a gunlogi then your tank is naturally weak if it were a blaster a rail or a missle tank

A good Missile Tank pilot sneaks up behind their prey and takes them by surprise. Can't react if you're dead one second after the first missile hits.

Would you mind posting your maddy layout? The missiles are your natural hard counter, and if they're on another maddy you're F***ed?! You're only course of action at that point is retreat and regroup. You will most likely not be able to take it out without getting taken out. |

Missile Tanks currently need no alterations to their current iterations and require of Dust 514 HAV piloting arguably the finest touch to use well without the operator being subject to the double edged sword they are.

KB/m with maxed sensativity == OP manoverability on the turret meaning even if some one flanks you you can easly do a 180 in 1 second or less

Missiles have the second slowest tracking off all turrets, given their are only 3 at this time.
Their projectiles have the slowest travel time, longest full reload and bounce harmlessly off of shielded vehicles. As a dedicated pilot of both shield and armour HAV I would hazard to say that they are one and done volley tanks if you close and sneak up on your foe....but logically are possibly the only turret to function as I see HAV turrets should.
Large Turrets should convey the sense of possessing a power that is not truly matched by AV (but mathematically equivalent) possessing massive fire power like the missile turret or having a much higher alpha damage than say....the Railgun.

With between 9K and 10K EHP on my Gunlogi I would laugh at Missile HAV trying to attack me.

Please, please, PLEASE stop this vomiting of letters that you try to make sound intelligent. It does nothing but make you look stupid. I use KB/M religiously in DUST... mostly because I'm just stubborn and might hate myself, but also because it's what I'm comfortable with.
Let me preface this by saying that I've only used the militia tanks, and that I suck at tanks, and used large missiles since the turret rebalance in Uprising 1.7. Now, to business:
It is incredibly painful and slow to try to traverse the turret of a HAV using KB/M, even with sensitivity set at ~70 'hipfire'/50 ADS. I often have to actually turn the entire vehicle just to get anything resembling rapid traverse. It's also why I almost never man installations as well, since the turret traverse is similarly, painfully slow.
So please, do not vomit forth this claim of "OP KB/M" when you obviously do not know that KB/M control in DUST is absolutely atrocious, has been atrocious since Uprising 1.0, and will likely be atrocious forever.
Legion can't come soon enough, if only because the KB/M controls will finally be good. |
