So after having a few issues with m dropship veering off in random directions and getting shot down, i go to ump out to at least go hunt the guy who destroyed my dropship down, I die by suicide from my still falling dropship running me the hell over. CCP either start refunding suits from that or fix it, cause honestly I'm getting tired of it, I have had it happen in PC's, FWC's and Pub's. AND ALSO FIX DROPSHIP HANDLING OR SOMETHING I WENT TO FLY RIGHT, NEXT THING I KNOW IM HEADING FOR THE GROUND!

If you switch seats before bailing, you won't get hit.

i hit the sprint button with a direction ( all on left stick) right after the exit button to be thrown clear
jump button didnt work at all for any help getting clear of the ship
i have consistent success with the sprint though
also play as strangeland stranger,

I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DO EXTRA STEPS I REPEAT I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DO EXTRA STEPS, MOST ARIEL VEHICLES HAVE SAFETY MEASURES FOR THESE EVENTS. SUCH AS A DEPLOYMENT HATCH THAT IS FREE FROM THE THE DIRECTION THE VEHICLE IS MOST LIKELY FALLING.

Here's a better fix, make dropships blow up when their hp hits 0... Then there's no falling and if you wanna jump you gotta do it while there's still a chance to keep it in the air.
FYI I find if you jump out before it starts falling straight down you don't get mauled by it. |
