I'd rather someone spend 300$ on charity than blow 300$ on IAPs, as someone will benfit from that in the long run. Also, emulators are free to download.

Actually go look at records from various charities and you will find 80 to 90% of the proceeds go to staff and company's not to the demographic they are representing. If I were to donate to any charity it would be ronald mcdonald house. They did alot to help my cousin and family through birth issues.

A lot of charities do that unfortunately, but a lot don't as well. All it takes is a bit of research to know what charities are good... Humble Bundle is a good choice though, because it is completely customizable. I can't recommend it enough. You get to choose how much you want to pay overall, and how much of that money, if any, goes to the Game Developers, The Charity, and the Humble Bundle Team. If you don't like the Charities currently being supported by HB, you can opt to have none of the money go to them. Same with the Developers, and the HB team as well. Its all optional. The minimum price for getting all the games in the bundle is only $10, but even if you only donate $1 you'll get a few games. Right now, for only $10, you'll get 12 games. And it doesn't even have to be games. You can get books too. More info.
