Is saying oh well if that one was not OP then this one would be really the approach we should be taking to obviously overpowered weapons?

And after various battles I got bored to run sidearms for the event, because the battles had the same trend. The battle starts, I kill 5 people, get killed 3 times, shoot 6 more people and the battle is over. And between some hacking and conversation with some people in different channels. I actualli like this event, its quite fun to take down Matees and other Boyos who usin' any of that Scallywag stuff with you beloved Flaylock or RumGun (i know u will ask what is rumgun and i can tell Ya matee .. its Toxin one, because very time when i shootin'it its like shooting after bottle of Rum) "Ultimate Loggi since 2012 and Matari Pirate Yaaaaaargh."

I don't play too often and need to grind the 750 kills when I can. It also makes for a good test of sidearm balancing.

If i can switch to my sidearm to finish them off, then i do, and know i get a little extra for the effort. However, i still use my combat rifle or other means to kill. (Great success with HMG Flaylock Combo) If they wanted to see what sidearms are performing well than obviously they will notice an abundance of bolt pistol kills since i've seen people running dual sidearms and doing just fine against all suits, even heavies, face to face. Takes a bit of effort to kill straight up with sidearms and if you haven't skilled into any, then im sure you would have a hard time killing and its not worth the struggle or the cost. I use my flaylock to kill as a finisher but in certain terms this maybe skewering the data to make it seem more effective than it is. Compare it with the killing potential with other sidearms(bolt pistol). If i get a kill cool, +1000sp, but if im not killing with it, then there is something to be said about its lack of use. Also, if you want to cap you need to average at least 40+ kills per day downtime-to-downtime with a sidearm. Yep - I'm into this event it's a good one. Very challenging. Hadn't used sidearms at all before now so it's been fun finding out what they're like. Started with normal fits with one sidearm but realised my squadmates were getting way more sidearm kills than me and switched to a couple of double sidearm fits. Works fine altho obviously my kdr is plummeting somewhat - but meh who cares about that. Would like to see constant events for all the different weapons - this one has made me appreciate the sidearms. GÇ£All that I know most surely about morality and obligations I owe to football.GÇ¥

I see side arms I think scout . Delta should come with a SP or infantry SP refund so that a campaign for one is not needed .

I think anyone should know their side arm as well as their primary weapon. This event will get a lot of people a lot sharper on their side arm game. then there is the ultimate reward of having a sidearm named after you for getting the most kills. that in and of itself is worth it. I think the more we can integrate this smallish player-base into Dust lore, the better.

I started out with kdr about the same as normal (which is admittedly not stellar anyways), but the last few days it has plummeted down to even worse levels. Seems like everyone has gone with RR variants, and the only sidearms I see are bolt and 'toxin' SMG. Glad to hear that others are also still participating, was starting to think that only noobs like me were still trying.

Although, just for ***** and giggles, I did run dual wolfmans last night. It was almost unfair, but I did lose a suit in the 3rd round and was too much of a wimp to do it again.

First time I have run with an exclusive sidearm fit. In closed quarter combat it rocks, but i found some maps challenging. Forced me to learn to rush a position more effectively which was fun. I got exhausted with it though so have been taking a break. It was so refreshing to go back to AV and logi. 2 weeks is a long time. I might try out some other sidearms rather than the ones I had skilled a bit into just for the fun of it. Got a dren scrambler pistol, so might combine that with the flaylock, but my gun game is pretty meh so getting head shots will be tricky (though good practice trying i guess). Also haven't tried knives, ion pistol or magsec yet.

All it was is a perspective on a current plight, mixed with a hypothesis on what could have happened. Give the Magsex some love.
