DUST Search - 'Lame-arm' Event ?

The scrambler was no where near as OP as the bolt pistol is now. Even way back before the RoF nerf it did not draw 1/2 the complaints that the bolt is getting. This was due to the fact that the only way it was OP was in the hands of a skilled user who could drop a couple of head shots for a quick kill. Returning the ScP to its original damage numbers with the current rate of fire would put it far more in line with other weapons than the bolt pistol is.

Is saying oh well if that one was not OP then this one would be really the approach we should be taking to obviously overpowered weapons?

If I'm not chasing after purely mlt magsec kills, I'm trying out the effectiveness of some other sidearm in Delta's meta (flaylock, bolt, ion, scrambler, SMG). Or I switch to my alt and nova knife all day. Give the Magsex some love.

All it was is a perspective on a current plight, mixed with a hypothesis on what could have happened. Give the Magsex some love.
