Damn I like how that keeps the races separated. I'm gonna give that a try. |

You can quickly annotate it down to 1 letter as well, I typically run all advanced fit with a few bpo militias as cheapo fits.

Race, Weapon or Equipment, Level
Though I use nicknames like Forge Quick or AA Ambush Scout either to find it faster or to arrange it alphabetically.
I know my selection really well now so it is easy, I could name them Rumplestiltskin and know what it does. The difficulty is when I switch to an Alt. and I go scrolling looking for a fit it doesn't have.
Because, that's why.

All Gallente Suits; PRO-ADV-STD; The Proto Suit's name is first in Alphabetical order, followed by Advanced and STD has a name that places it last in alphabetical order in the suit tier.
Assault - Acier Assault - Bronze Assault - Carbon
Engineer - Black Bear Engineer - Fire Ant Engineer - Termite
Logistics - Rewire Logistics - Safecracker Logistics - Tool Kit
Scout - Ghost Scout - Phantom Scout - Spectre
P.S. Engineer is just what I call the Commando suit. Has Reps and AV with a main weapon similar to the Battlefield Engineer.

A trick I use is when naming suits, put spaces before the names to fight the automatic alphabetical order. Ill put three spaces in front of my logi fits to keep them at the top of the list, two spaces in front of my sentinels to put them next down the list, one space in front of commandos making them third down the list. You get the idea. |

It depends. On fits where the weapon is the main point of interest, I just use that, e.g. 'Heavy Machine Gun', or, 'Forge Gun'. However, if I have more than one fit using the same suit or weapon, I go 'Suit - Weapon (+tier) - Equipment - Mods (I'll only include Mods if the fit is made specifically to use them e.g. Codebreakers) To give some examples:
Scout C.R. 2 I.N.K. A.S. - This means Adv Min Scout (I only run Min Scouts so I don't need to include 'Min' in the name) with a RS-90 Combat Rifle (the '2' signifies Adv tier, I use 'A.C.R.' for the BK-42), Ishukone Nova Knives, and an Active Scanner.
More Examples! 'Scout B.C.R. I.N.K. A.S.' This means I'm using a Republic Boundless Combat Rifle (because I don't buy them with ISK), and since I've got a Proto weapon, it means I'm also using a Republic Proto Min Scout suit, (because I don't put Proto weapons on Adv suits). I also know that, unless I specify otherwise, I'm using 2 Complex Kincats, and tanking shield.
Hope I helped! o7

I try to give myself abbreviated ideas of what is on the suit. Ex.
Sco M-1 xNK ^SMG etc. x meaning proto, ^ meaning advanced. This way if I am picking a suit that I don't use often, I will know exactly what is on the suit. On my uplink suits, I use UL1, UL2, UL3 to denote the different kinds of uplinks so I don't negate the uplinks I have planted by grabbing the same suit and laying a 3rd and 4th of the same uplink and removing the other two.
I also use A, AA, AB in front of all my most useful fits so that they are at the top in the order I would like.
So my uplink fits might look like:
Ab Sco M-1 xNK SMG UL1

I use a ' ' ' at the start of the name for the few suits I use the most with a starter fit medic set as favorite (so that if I'm near a supply depo during a barrage I can swap to that quickly) then just numbers at the start of other fits based on how much I use them. It's a mess, but it's an organized mess. |

I organize my fittings by function, and I want them to appear in a specified order when selecting them during battle so that I can access them quickly. Here's the convention that I use
[plus|minus][ordinal] [name] [price]
Alphabetically '+' appears before '-' so the fittings that I use the most get a '+'. The ordinal ensures that they appear in a specific order. Sometimes I include the number of uplinks I can have deployed in parentheses. The price helps me determine whether or not I want to use a suit based on how the battle is going.
Example:
+01 Pilot(5) 19000 +02 Dash(1) 11685 +03 Super Soldier(1) 20385 +04 AV 10635 +05 Engineer 13195 +06 Infiltrator(2) 11195 ... -00 Weapon Tester 21885 -01 Ranger 4380 -02 Smooth Operator(1) 2885 -03 'Black Eagle' Scout G/1 Series ...
Tip, I always use different kinds of uplinks on my fittings, so that if I drop a new uplink with dropsuit 'A', then it won't disappear when I drop an uplink with dropsuit 'B'.

I use a number to designate the class and a letter to arrange by price followed by a short description.
For example my assault suits look like:
2 - A - Cheap 2 - B - AScR 2 - C - Specialist 2 - D - Viziam
This works well for me thanks to the fact that when switching suits your last suit is highlighted making it very simple to change quickly between my assault suits.
I have my PC suits labeled as
Z - PC - Description
When I go into a PC battle I simply change the Z to a zero to put them all at the top of the list. |

I number mine 1 for scouts 2 assaults 3 commando ect... Then I name them like minja for my main "killer" scout or infiltrator for my uplink scout Then I have my proto versions of those fits numbered 4 and what there purpose is at bottom of list because I rarley use em. I onlu use minmatar so I dont have to worry about seperating race. |
