There are clear front runners and many weapons like the ARs for instance are left with no redeeming qualities. The front runners the CR and RR have a higher Range with little or no factors to make up for there lazer like accuracy or amazing rate of fire. The biggest mark on the game is of course the way scout preforms with seemingly no concern or acknowledgment of a problem. Ineffecual attempts or incompetence I don't know which all I know is it would be so much nicer to be able to play what ever way you wanted instead of this mmo monthly min max marathon that so many mmo's seem to orchestrate. I didn't even bring up bolt pistol lol. OP I think fotm is ck scout with swarms and bolt pistol scout commandos woot lol. Iron what do you mean by Garbage of the month? like things that need buffed? Sure, there are things that still need tweaking -- scout suits and bolt pistol come instantly to mind. That said, balance is an ideal that's never truly reached in any FPS I've ever played. So to expect Dust to be perfectly balanced is setting oneself up for disappointment and frustration.

I used to be crazy good with M1s but I haven't killed anything in forever with them. I think it was when CCP changed the blast damage application. It used to be that it would do the full damage to anything within the blast zone (admittedly OP), and has been changed to doing less the farther the target is from the center. I've even been in my Cal Sent and didn't lose all my shields when hit by a flux nearby. I'm not sure the calculation, but perhaps if it was more like a negative exponential function (gradual decrease at first then a sharper dropoff) it would help. Having 3 sleeks at a time would also make them more appealing. Dust was real! I was there! Dear diary, Rattati senpai noticed me today~

There are plenty who say the bonuses are not worthwhile and the minmatar suit wise is still slightly (key word slight) under the curve. Now Assault Swarm Launchers, Sleek Grenades, and other very useless weapon variants are definitely on the list.
