After taking a much do break after 2 years of play I come back to find that I can now be one shot by a sidearm that the incubus is completely useless having prof 5 in gallente assault and only firing every 3 secs this is complete bullshit and how do you nerf the sniper rifle the most under powered weapon in the game and I know everyone hates a sniper but damn though it was good this has turned me off to this game completely now as of what I've seen I will not be buying legion ccp rattati you sir are a failure to the dust community why after all this time would ccp allow this dip to change things that have stood so long I do not understand
The way I see it this game went from rewarding team play to **** soloing if you wanted to fix the rails on the incubus you should have just took the stacking bonus off not nerf beyond use maybe I've become a scrub in my absence but I chased a lav around nearly half a game and only got one damage points missing 1/2 my shots I was unable to break it's shield once again could just be me feed back from other ads pilots would be appreciated

It's really not that bad though, things are about as balanced as they've ever been, in a broad sense. Still a few hiccups though.
Damn thanks bro thanks for picking those up not very punctual of me.I only played 3 games so my feel for all these changes might not be accurate. they were all decent games top 5 and a first, but it doesn't feel right.One thing I do know is the incubus is all messed up.

I don't like that to counter-snipe a redliner you have to be in the thick of battle, makes it absurdly difficult at times.
I do like that a militia sniper rifle (No skills needed!) can now OHK just about 90% of the snipers out there with a headshot, so that drastically lowers the excuses as anyone can now properly counter another sniper.
Actually it was a bolt pistol that kept OHK me. I did find the python is still usefull but that incubus I've tried tactic after tactic with it can't seem to do anything I've spent like 3 mill on incubus this morning no kills with it tanks don't even worry about me in it and on the other hand I've had this damn python for 4 matches

The important thing to understand is that CCP was trying to fix the issue of ADS' being god-mode in the hands of an experienced pilot; the RoF bonus was insane at 10% per level--just think of the complaints if tanks could get the same boost for small turrets! Also, there was (and still is) the known issue of the RoF bonuses stacking from pilots and gunners. Fixing this would likely require a client update and not a hotfix, so it will have to wait for some time in the future. The afterburner tweak was made to prevent dropships from zooming out of the battle at the first sign of damage and returning 5 seconds later at full health (and repeating the process non-stop.) That said, CCP did substantially lower the cost on the ADS.
didn't realize they reduced the price still doesn't make up for the fact that it's completely broken I understand that the experienced pilots can wreck havoc but no more havoc than a experienced cloaked scout with a shotty I mean what a hundred truly natural ads pilots that can just go beast on everyone they nerfed it because people were skillfully using it and I'm not one of those people who loaded up three prof pilots in one dropship to insta pop everything (except in pc fair game) but one pilot vs one tank pretty good balance as of old I'm also a tanker and I know all it takes to scare off a pilot is jumping out and nice ishi forge right up the rear just wish they would have taken out the stacking bonus well back to destiny with me thanks for the comments people.
