This is the first time I have ever experienced or even heard of this glitch, so I am mostly posting it for entertainment value. I wish I had been able to record it.
I called in a Dropship, but when I entered the Dropship, my body stayed on the ground.
I could see myself standing next to the Dropship. I took off, and then a few moments later I was back in my body watching my Dropship. But I still had the Dropship icon at the bottom middle of my screen, and I still had control of the dropship like a remote control drone, at least for a little while.
My perspective kept switching between the Dropship and my clone body on the ground. My control also kept switching. But they did not switch at the same time.
Sometimes I was in the Dropship flying the Dropship.
Sometimes I was on the Ground moving my Clone.
Sometimes I was in the Dropship causing my clone to through grenades.
Sometimes I was on the Ground flying the Dropship remotely.
Eventually I crashed the Dropship onto the ground and rolled it over onto its roof. I could not get out of the Dropship because I had no body, and I could not fly the Dropship because it was sitting on its roof.
Eventually I had to commit suicide to get back into the match.
Squad mates witnessed this and confirmed that they could see both my clone on the ground and my Dropship flying around. (The term "flying" being used loosely in this context.)
Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

Your experience has made things like MCC spawn-style Ambush and half-submerged tanks sound like everyday features. 
When the Japanese fully master this glitch (probably in short time) I can't wait to see the results.
Give the Magsex some love.

Have had it happen to me twice, both when i was shooting at the enemy lav, i became the lav itself. Think it might have to do with their servers/lag. |
