'Sever' Scout Fail...

Dark Taboo 180	Posted - 2014.10.07 08:19:00 - [1] - Quote I had assault dragonfly, templar set and when sever bpo came out I decide to buy it to got all old classes bpoed. There was a big surprise for me, that this suit need gal light lvl 3 and gal.scout lvl 1. I thought it's because it will keep some bonuses. Nope Now... CCP is it bug or just somebody forgot to change it? Not to mention nobody can fit basic cloak plus basic modules ( no cpu and pg modules) on this fit. Can any dev confirm what's going on with that suit? At least give that suit bonus to cloak usage if we need to skill into "Guys in pants". People please discuss.

Have no idea. Check it. There will be info about purchasing item without required skills. Thing is my cal dragonfly assault don't have any suit bonuses and require no skills to use. I'm in work now and can't check templar fits requirements but I'm almost 100 % sure they don't need any skills as well. That's why it's funny for me, that I needed to skill into gal scout to unlock bpo suit without any bonuses.

All the other bpos can be used without skills but will receive suit bonus if you skill into them so if you have amarr logi 4 and used the templar logi you will get the drop uplink spawn reduction Never argue with an idiot. they bring you down to their level and beat you through experience

Links on templar logi don't get bonus. Laser and ScR haven't got heat bonus on templar assault. Thanks 4 bpo info anyway.

Scout skill affects scouts, sentinel affects the sent suit, etc. The only bonused suits that have no skill prereq are dren set, the original dragonfly scout, the covenant assault and the templar set. Raven, sever and valor require you to have the relevant skills to minimum. I cannot use my raven assault, sever logi or valor scout because of this. A few of us spelled this out in a few threads as a warning. Listen to the beta testers. We know things.

I was missing bpo scout and got it now

I bought the sent suit to bad I will not be able to use it for a few weeks. Have to do scout first then work my way up to sent. It is a good game well worth a lil cash. I do wish they would fix this **** though. Hey anyone know how the boosters work for this event? like if I pop a 3 day one will I get a bonus for the whole event or just the 3 days? Works just as well as standard scout suit, three complex damps on the suit your invisible to the toughest of scans. With lvl three CPU lvl five PG i can fit RS, ZNs, REs, shield, R-9s, damps, and kins. Or switch out REs for cloak. Since i have damps and kins to five i only have cloak to lvl one as damps stealthen me and kins and regs prolong the distance i can travel while remaining stealthy. So at max cores at best you can probably fit some ADV mods including cloak. Remember though, its a basic suit. You still have SOME limits to what you can put on there. But you NEED damps lvl five, kins lvl five, max gal scout, regs to three at least and the mindset if you plan on running it alot that HP is not everything, and your going to die a LOOOOOOOOT before you get better. The MAG sets have the same skill requirements as the Standard suits. (Unlike the other BPOGÇÖs) They should have the bonuses and layouts of the Standard suits as well. They were not intended to be divergent. If they are not getting the proper bonuses, or the stats donGÇÖt match the Standard suits, then put in a ticket and get Rattati or Logbro to look into it. Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

I am using the Sever Sentinel on two accounts. Have not had any problems. But be warned, the orange is closer to brown than red. They look flashier in the advertisement. Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

Sever, Raven, and Valor have the same skill requirements as the Standard Suits. Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

I was missing bpo scout and got it now They should do. All the suits should receive their bonus from skilling into it. I've checked ones with fitting bonus to see if they apply and on my templar assault (lv5) I fired the laser rifle til exploded on the assault and on another suit and they popped at different stages so the heat build up worked properly. Never argue with an idiot. they bring you down to their level and beat you through experience
