I am latino myself.
It just seems weird to me that suddenly there is a bunch of latino players in the America Server so sudden and out of nowhere.
Some even sporting better gear than me..... and I have been here since Mordus Private Trials.
Honestly, every 8/10 matches I play is filled with mexican and other latino corps.
I wouldn't mind if their tactics didn't include spamming either heavies or LAVs everywhere along side the map.
But that said, they make fearced opponents and I am glad that there are far more latino's playing this game besides me and my buddy.0
its not that there is more latinos playing its that the americans have moved on to better games that have came out besides this while fun free to play dieing game.
You pretty much nailed it right on the head. There has been many latinos in this game including myself. The thing was that they where #1 part of another corp. and #2 as you mentioned stayed in the game while other players moved to a different game. Also #3 as they get more experience in the game they have started their own corp. For example, if you look at the history of my corp (Coalicion Latina or CL for short) most of the based players where at some point part of the Latinos Killer corps. we left that corp because of being disgruntled with their CEOs practices. Like for example we like to play and include all of our players when we squad up where as, at least at the time the CEOs of Latinos killer played almost exclusively with their click members. That and other annoyances left us to create our own corp. Even some players from our corp have moved on to either form their own corp or joined someone else. Hell some even have come back. Some examples are 1.U.P. Fatal absolution skill of god. We have former members in those.
But, that is not the big issue. Changes in the game and the availability of new games have made people leave dust. For example we lost at least 3 of our top players to Destiny and they even turn in their directors status. We are currently up for election. But, here is the thing. A game like Destiny may set you back $60 to $80 U.S. dollars. Well, in some latinos countries that $80 can easily turn to $120 or more once you do the conversion. Even me who live in the U.S. find $80 a bit expensive so we stick to the game for economic reasons.
One thing that I would like to mention now that i have the chance is that Hispanics are very proud people. We root for our teams and are very dedicated. So, when we finally find our group (which ever that may be) we defended with a lot of passion). This is why you see a lot of country names in their corporations. Is like saying we are from here. This is ours and we are proud to belong blah blah blah. It is not a racist thing. It is just a comfort thing. Is like rooting for your favorite NFL team.
