I was pondering pretty far ahead into Legion about Wormhole space and wondering how they would be implemented. Initially the idea of having Eve players ferry Dust players threw Wormholes and then Dust players deploying from that point seemed like a bad way to encourage conflict.
Stargates sound better http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stargate_%28device%29#Known_statements_about_wormhole_physics...
Now I think that this is better choice over having centralized wormholes popping up on planets, and having the Jove involved in building them seems like reasonable logic. I wont go into to it to much but there is the idea of setting up beacons in WH districts so that friendly ships can find WH entrances, scanning down Stargates in the open world that leads to a discoverable district ect...
Let it be so!
You know you have at least thought about cow tipping. They know, and they're out to settle the score.

If Legion conflict extends to W-Space, then guaranteed there are not going to be stargates, wormholes are temporary, not at fixed points in space short of CCP allowing us to anchor Player Owned Stargates in W Space, something I don't think any of my friends in W-space would enjoy.
How long til this hits PC?

Agreed, part of the fun of WH space is the randomness of getting around. When it first opened people would get stuck, I mean literally no way to get out of the wh system they where in short of suicide. It was pretty awesome.

I meant stargates in the sense of Stargate SG1 in a design point of view, not direct highways into WH space. So you had a 'stargate' 'gate' that could be discovered on a planet while you are on a district...you then ride to or land in a area where this stargate is...
The Stargates (a physical 'jovian gate') activate much like WHs in EVE and lead to different parts of WH space, maintain mass ect.... So instead of just a random hole appearing on a planet it would instead be some type of ancient technology that could further backstory on WHs.
And by beacons I mean that these 'beacons' would act much like probes that instead of finding another gate planetside would find a highsec/lowsec/nullsec entrance for EVE players inside a WH. While a player could still scan down gate, I am just suggesting another way to interact between Eve and Legion.
