The hell is that Big Blue Table of Nothingness in the Middle ? Wouldn't it make more sense if it was the map you are fighting on ?

A long time ago it used to show the map apparently but I was a nooberry back then and never bothered to pay attention.
I was too busy looking At All The DAMN AUR SUITS THAT USED TO BE PRETTY AND HAD VARIETY IN COLOR!

I was around when that disappeared I guess. Why'd they Remove it ? They don't people being organized before they go in ? I feel it should show the map you're battling on. This would be great for PC battles !

no sometimes you will see what looks to be a clump of buildings, when ccp removed the wait time for pubmatchs they also removed the table display but either its a glitch or they missed some of the code, or just moved it out of the players sight

The Devs are weird as F@ck. It seems as if they don't want us to collaborate so they remove the Maps and the Warbarge time. Now they're messing with the matchmaking so we can work together . . . wut ?

CCP removed a lot of things for seemingly no reason [most likey no reason if you ask me].
Diverse AUR coloring
Brighter Color Palette instead of the same boring "gritty" feel on every damn map. I know these are the more resource based planets but they were more visually pleasing than this while still giving that gritty feel
The most kickass menus music when you started the game
Priority on teamwork
More detailed weapon stats
More detailed suit stats
....more detailed stats in general
FW deployment from Starmap (although I see why that left because CCP wanted to be a referee for FW because Amarr and Caldari were [and still are  ] getting their ass beat)

Yes, From what I've seen on closed beta, they do seem to have a habit of removing unnecessary aspects of the game.

they also removed weather effects....a feature i miss the most.
and kirk i've unofficially retired from the platoon as many others have to,so you are correct in saying cal is now getting their ass'es kicked, though if they ever bring my lp cal scout to the lp store you will see more of my mails requesting you or arkena(r.i.p.) to bring a better team

I can tell now that the Hamsters that ran the Beta are long gone, the Beta had some little aspects which made the game more lively such as a minimap, the sound effects of hacking, the MCC docking mode. I'd say this should all come back during the 1.9 Client update

It was Craterlake at one point, now it's a relic of a long-discarded idea that would take too much effort to remove.

The only map they ever coded into the warbarge was Skirmish 1.0. Please don't talk like they removed the maps from the warbarge; they simply never made any for the post Skirmish 1.0 maps.
