Honestly im not fan of AimAss, but i see this just like shadow of this event.
After the event everyone will go just back to prim. arms.
If you want to take it out, oki i dont mind but this will be just favour for that boyos who basicaly was riped by its powerfull dam and start QQ here, nothing else.
With this next time it will be SMG, later flaylock and later even an autolock on swarmies.
Right now everything is pretty balanced, i dont know i see it like just another favour for QQ, nothing else.

What about change the shootin' patern from pure elevation up to something Zig/Zaggish.
Like if you shooting heavy pistol in real, insted of pattern up, change it to diagonal UP-LEFT recoil (like for righ handed) 
Maybe tweek little damage, but it still should be strongest sidearm per shoot on battlefield
