yeah man, i stopped even attempting them. there were quite a few popping after the higher payouts, but now there ain't sht really, even if i que all 4 at a time. |

When the timer is at 00:00 that means there are no factional battles. I've read that this is by design due to player counts CCP only makes factional battles available for parts of the day.
BTW, this is not something new, been like this since launch of factional battles,

The FW queue does not "turn off" it simply says 00:00 when there are not enough people searching for battles. If you go in after 11am EST and feel like hitting search and idling til you get scottied you will even get a battle with the timer saying 00:00, I have done this on many occasions.
It is spreading the rumor that FW is turned off at certain times that only makes it less likely to find a battle thanks to the other people not searching either.

If this really is true then a clarification from CCP is needed. Because I know that myself and many others just see the 00:00 timer and just assume it is not open yet :-/ |

Yes showing 00:00 really is a bad mechanic that makes factional take longer to get into than it should after downtime thanks to turning people away and fueling a false rumor. If you really want to test it just get 32 people to Q-Sync on opposite sides and you will pop right in at any time no matter what the estimated shows.
I may try to get enough people directly after downtime and do a video just to show everyone and help out factional by getting just a few more people searching when they think they can not. |
